YG releases alternate versions of "Rise" and "2014 S/S" songs

With apparently no announcement, YG Music's official Youtube channel uploaded 57 short videos earlier today with audio previews of 3 versions of each song from Taeyang's "Rise" and Winner's "2014 S/S" albums. The full versions are available for purchase on itunes and include an acapella, instrumental, and MR-removed version of all of the album tracks.

Weeping over these acapella versions tbh. Don't really get the point of the MR-removed tracks because they basically either sound like the instrumental ones or the regular tracks, and I can't think of a reason you would need a track with only the main vocals removed, but w/e.

oh that's interesting i didn't think of that but it makes sense. yg would do well to have a boy group that can sing. not that big bang can't but they're successful for different reasons, winner can be the same way.

YG have sold the instrumental and acapella versions of their tracks (including remix rights) for a long time and it's really smart TBH, sooooo many people use them to make mashups and remixes and those all give more exposure to the original tracks.

I dunno what the MR removed versions are about, except that they make karaoke easier.

Sometimes the MR removed tracks are really great. It just depends on the song. Sometimes, Those versions are the only ones I'll keep because the full originals don't do anything for me.
