what the hell was up with YDG? he let Iron do his own thing like not giving AF at all? unless it was evil editting again, which i doubt this time? idk I didn't even realize how much he dissed YGfam~ the first time I watched his performance lol. meh, it's not that serious anyway. I still give him props! I didn't even want to finish GIriboy's performance. Mess. He should've went to Tablo lol.
I also thought about the possibility of evil editing but there were so many clips of YDG going "you take care of it" that I also don't think it was evil editing this time. When Iron holds up his phone to show the texts, before the camera zooms in you can see that Iron's side of the text convo is normal sized texts, and YDG's are a couple words each. Seems like it really was that bad :(
loved everyone but Giriboy's performance. so disappointed with him :c totally should've went with Team YG. after watching Iron's performance I could not imagine him being in BTS. rooting for him ♥♥

Iron made my heart beat. Not in a fan-girly way--but just in excitement? Like adrenaline??? He was so intense. I can't believe YDG was just ignoring him like that, I think that's because he didn't really care about anyone on that team besides Sangsoo. He took in Iron because it was a no brainer and Giriboy because anyone else would have taken in Giriboy. How do you play someone who's actively asking for your advice, though? I was really impressed with iron's performance and have been replaying the mp3 for the last week or so haha. It sucks that ydg didn't really help him at all and just brushed him off. he picked a pretty bad beat for giriboy and the other team member to rap over too olltii had some good wordplay and lyrics in his song
B.I's song sounds familiar, probably because of Tukutz, still catchy and on replay :3
I'm surprised no one mentioned this on the last discussion post, but that dude on YDG team that got cut off was so rude. Right from the beginning, when he used the word "nigga" it was obvious he'd continue being an ass. I kinda hoped that word slipped, but come on, getting drunk on tv is, like masta wu would say, a no-no. And even when they couldn't contact him, I thought YDG would still give him another chance bc favoritism but I'm glad he didn't.
I can't wait to see Toy perform (I hope she does, still haven't checked the raw eps)
Jidam... oh Jidam... I'll forever be pressed they chose her instead of Snakychan or Jolly V. If tablo was so persistent on getting a female, Jolly V was better and the girl knew what she was doing. Sadly, but true, Jidam is still an amateur, and the time span they were given to prepare is not much. idk how much he expected for her to improve. Her problem, imo, was the lyrics/wordplay, she wasn't able to come up with good things on the spot, and I honestly don't think that's something you can suddenly improve in weeks. It can take years to improve in that aspect. Rather than thinking of "training" his team into good rappers, Tablo should've had the thought of polishing them into better rappers.
Giriboy's performance makes me wonder how different it would've been if he had chosen team YG.
Iron's voice is WOAH!! I hope he makes it far in hiphop, not just in smtm. Vasco... /sigh. I guess there'll be more head banging next ep. I still haven't checked Bobby's perf, but from the hype, I'm expecting good rhymes and lyrics (wordplay) that'll give me chills D:

I haven't seen anything on how many episodes this season will have. I thought I could find out by looking up the previous seasons, but it turns out that every season of SMTM so far has had a different format sooo that doesn't help haha.
I was seriously taken off guard when they chose Jidam over Jolly V during that first team choosing. This whole time I believed this show was about skill and not "training someone to reach their potential" lol... and honestly Jolly V got so much screentime in the beginning that I was sure she would make it through or something.... grrr
plus: giriboy on smtm and giriboy in any other context seem like two different people. he doesn't show any confidence in this program and really seems like an amateur. and the worst part is that YDG seems like no help at all. like tablo said, everyone is showing a development in the show, except for giriboy, who is going down.
I was soooo impressed by Olltii's wit after watching the eng sub, like wow he is mad talented. I mean i assumed he got in a good amount of punchlines from the audience's reactions watching the raw, but man the amount of notes the translators had to do for his performance alone was crazy in comparison to everyone else haha since he had so many puns and references! Cant believe's he's only like what? 18?? He's amazing *O* totally loving him these days!
Iron is also amazing, nothing new haha. I dont have much to say anymore since i feel like i've said it all already (the subs for ep6 did come out late) I was right about my speculations of YDG's douchery tho ughh, seeing him neglect iron like that frustrated me so much. The boy was actively seeking his guidance, because um YDG is his MENTOR after all. Iron was so stressed out about everything but in the end he pulled through to put on a top notch performance, impressed by how much he got done on his own :)
Also i do feel sad for giriboy, i cant help but feel empathetic towards him. I feel like he can do/usually does better but he is just not shining on this show anymore like he was in the beginning. I definitely think he chose the wrong team to be on, he struggled to relate to YDG's style of music when he gave him the track.
Iron slayed, and his little shout outs to DNH are so cute. idk why YDG was such a jerk to him though... you're here and paid to be a mentor, can you act like one?
I was shaking throughout Hanbin's performance because I thought he would screw up again and to screw up with the lyrics of Be I would be terribad. But he did amazing! Glad to see Olltii seeing the light too now~ When Hanbin said "everybody say 'oh'" Olltii was shouting "OH" from the waiting room I was literally in pieces
That being said, started freaking out when Olltii deservedly beat Giriboy - Olltii isn't your poker face /too/ good......
