OT but it's true that Red Velvet is only a part of a bigger group split in 3 subunits? Taken from youtube:

"There are rumours that SM's new girlgroup actually consists of 12 people. Red Velvet part of a 3 unit girl group! Blue & Yellow Subunits to debut in following months.
The subgroups are devided by country, Korea, Japan & China.
Each will be revealed before SMTOWN held in respective country, and the Grand Debut of the group as whole is in November.
The release of the "BLUE" group in Sept, the release of the "YELLOW" group in Oct. During Nov, it will add up to form a 12 member group. the 3 different units would have their activities in korea, japan, china respectively".

except if SM taking woollim's trainees and this explains why that girlgroup still hasn't debut yet, I don't even remember which year that girlgroup plan was announced. I kinda want Baby Soul to debut as solo or duet (with Jin) or trio (plus Jiae) though.

it kinda doesn't make sense because EXO-K/M imo is a cost efficient solution of promoting two groups with same song and outfits, while after a full round of Happiness promotion, it doesn't make sense to debut another group with Happiness in Japanese and Chinese because of the fresh factor so they might have to debut them with another song?
(plus they've screwed Japan debut chance with that mv, at least for now)

My only thoughts as to why they're doing this is that they rushed through the debut of the korean third in order to hush up the f(x) drama. promo for what they will consider the main subunit + it means that the public already know some members from the main group + distraction from sulli? win win, and they can just put the chinese/japanese versions of happiness as album tracks/intro tracks for the two other subunits.
(whether they'll follow through on it is another thing though. i mean, if it exists then they probably will, because they're sm, but still)

There's only 6 random girls at the start of the video and half of them are already revealed in SMRookies. They're like 10-13 years old so I doubt they'd be put in the same group as RV who are 17-23.

Is it just me or does Boram's stage sound awful? Like, the chorus is ok, but up to then her voice was terrible.

Ladies Code are amazing, I love their stage! It really makes me love the song too.

Block B was 3rd last week, now 2nd... Let's aim for 1st next week! (Also, it'd be a great fuck-you to Brand New Barfdom if BB won 1st while Mino debuted with Winner.)

hyuna's outfit today is lovely. i hate that the beginning of her song is so awkwardly pitched, it's just a bit too low in her register to be comfortable.
i really loved nu'est's panelled shirts so this is kind of a downgrade for me. JR's hair is also just an awkward pointer as to how fried Baekho's is. I hope his hair gets a break now that they've got a new blonde. Minhyun is starting to sound a little strained.
red velvet sound suuuper tired but it's good to hear some actual audible lives from them. wendy sounds the most drained which worries me if she's gonna carry their vocals. she had no real power behind her solo break today. seulgi sounds exhausted but she is giving it all she's got, bless. joy also seems to be improving in stage manner even if she's exhausted.

seulgi and joy continue being the best, i find wendy a bit unstable to be the main singer, but im sure she will improve.

the screams during bestie's stage have me in tears, i'd sell a lung for them to make it. that stage tho.........
