After watching everything, the results were pretty fair. I feel like Kwill should've surprised everyone and done a more energetic cover.

The new guy from Starship is really good. Idk what's up with Miss A, maybe it's just Fei but they're always so dull to watch. I had to force myself to watch the entire thing.

His voice gaaaah so beautiful. I find him to be an awkward performer but he's new and looking very promising already.

I wish got 7 did a different song. The theme or challenge for their round was about what boyfriends would say to their girlfriends, or i guess what gfs wants to hear from their bfs. I forgot. But yeah either those two. They could have done something totally romantic and swoon worthy but i guess a 2pm cover makes sense. It's not vocally challenging, if they did some smooth rnb/ballad and fall short vocally, that would be nagl considering it's a singing show.

Mad props to the ladies who were/are waiting for their boyfriends while they serve. That's a lot of dedication.

Ep 1 was yoon minsoo vs wheesung.
Whessung had ailee and yoon minsoo had that guy from 4men.
I believe there was a lot of slayage vocally considering the line up but i havent gotten around atching the ep yet soni cant say if it's interesting

ngl my least favorite performance was fei and min. I love them but I felt like the performance was a bit lacking. They should have chosen a better song.

Best performance hands down was yeeun and 15&. They killed it and even though k.will was awesome as always, the girls deserved that win.

GOT7 gave me nostalgic feels. I know people want GOT7 to have a song like 10/10 but from their interviews and stuff I don't think it's the route they want to go, so it's fine with me if they don't.

Junggigo and mad clown are a great combo. They need to do an actual single together.

Jooyoung is adorable and sounds great. I look forward to hearing more from him.

I'm loving this show! i'm so sad tho, i had higher expectations for miss A's performance. It was like Min and Fei weren't that connected. I'm going to blame the song they picked.

jooyoung was nice but i got too overwhelmed with got7 i'm so sorry T_T

well i was expecting fei and min to touch each other but it felt like they performed individually for a duo song... i still liked it though. anyway junggigo really channeled eddy kim there hahahah he should collab with mad clown soon!

the vocal slayage in the last round was too much. k. willl did well but 15& and yeeun had me in tears, too good

troublemaker was not good but mad clown's rapping is annoying to me so i didn't like neither one in this round oop
i LOVE that song kwill sang, but maybe i'm too used to iu's version... it was a very good cover but he didn't really win me over until the end. 15& and yenny were amazing!

I haven't watched them all, but I think they problem with Miss A's performance was that Fei kinda just posed around for the 1st half. It was better near the end when they danced together, but they didn't really show the dancing part that much, which would've been better.

Man, I love Yenny but those 15& girls outsang her tenfold and without doing nearly as much over singing. Yenny is a serviceable singer but not on the level to be singing next to those two. Her pitch and vocal placement were all over the place.

Also, if Miss A had done that song even a half-step higher it would have sounded so much better. Neither of them were able to pull off those low notes so the cover had even less energy vocally than it did performance-wise.

I'm JYPE/GOT7 biased, but I honestly thought Joo Young's performance was really boring and the singing was mediocre at best. I saw the score before I watched his video so I was expecting something more the whole time. GOT7's vocals could obviously use a lot of improvement, but at least their performance was auper fun to watch.

I wasn't too impressed with Min and Fei (I think it was a poor song choice), but I felt the same about Mad Clown/Junggigo.

I thought the last round was a tough call since they're all so vocally talented. Even though K.Will just stood in place the whole time, he's really great at "feeling" the song and connecting with the audience. I lovelovelove 15&, but I thought Yeeun's adlibs got kind of messy at the end of the song. I really enjoyed the performance though; their voices work well together.

Can someone explain how the point system works? And why is the audience predominantly female?

All the female audience have boyfriends serving in the army.
That was the theme of the entire episode.

If i understood it right, There's cash money involved. They bet on their team, who wins that round gets that money.

I know i'm biased, but i preferred the JYP performances.

I went through so many different emotions with Got7 covering 2PM lol! The moment they started i had this goofy grin and then i was literally aw-ing left and right! /old
(have to be honest tho 2pm had the superior booty shaking/smacking!! )

At first I was starry eyed at the Got7 and The XX Covers but once I listened to Jooyoung I found myself hitting the replay button.

The third round was difficult! I just feel like the Starship team was more on point with the army girlfriends themes with song choices and performance.

Favorite stage was 15& with Ye Eun hands down!
However, in general, Starship team's music and performances was more my style.
That was an underwhelming stage for Miss A. I expected more energy from them.

In Round 1, during Got7's stage you can see the girls in audience were like 'woo flashy acrobatics, this is so fun! these boys are cute'. And then their response when they were listening to Joo Young was like 'omg why is he so smooth, swoons'. Lol the contrast.

this episode was pretty grating, i prefer the first one as it introduced the format nicely and all performance were worth it

wow i'm really worried about how the next week episode will be like, there's cube vs some male singers from 90s... btob, g.na and 4minute are confirmed for it and tbh it's a shame yoseob or shin ji hoon aren't going. the opposite team is kim kyung-ho, lee hyun-woo and kim chang-ryul so that's pretty much a competition of different levels...
