KCON announces sweepstakes to win 2 VIP tickets + some other stuff

KCON 2014 has just announced that this summer, a lucky fan will win a VIP trip for two to KCON 2014!



The prize package includes 2 VIP KCON convention and concert tickets, airfare, 3-night hotel accommodations, plus a technology prize pack including a smartphone, tablet and an accessory of the winner’s choice.

Here's how to enter: follow KCONWishSweepstakes on Instagram and visit any Verizon Wireless store before July 29th, snap three (3) pictures of your favorite mobile products including one (1) smart phone, one (1) tablet, and one (1) accessory and upload onto Instagram with the hashtag #KCONWishSweepstakes. Those without Instagram may enter via the online entry form at www.verizonwireless.com/HeatUpYourSummer. The KCON 2014 lineup is stacked this year, with two nights of performances by B1A4, G-DRAGON, IU, TEENTOP, and VIXX (Saturday, August 9) as well as BTS, CNBLUE, Girl's Generation, Jung Joon Young, and SPICA (Sunday, August 10).

Good luck, Omonians! I couldn't find anywhere in the rules that said whether or not this contest was limited to certain countries and they only ask for your name and email address, so you could always give it a shot.

i don't think i could stoop to hating myself so much that i would willingly go into a verizon store and just take photos of products, even for free airfare. i already bought my dirt cheap tickets anyway. good luck to anyone who wants to do this tho

plus they're late as all hell to do something like this. like waiting a little over a week until the actual convention to end a sweepstakes........

I thought it was awfully late too but I guess it's slightly better that they're providing airfare/hotel, because otherwise there'd be no way you could get either of those in time.

And you don't actually have do all that stupid Verizon/Instagram stuff to enter; the link I put in bold takes you directly to the entry form that lets you bypass that. (Otherwise there's no way I would have entered, lol.) It takes a couple seconds to do and they don't ask for a bunch of information from you so I figured why not.

yeah, they didn't announce the convention early enough this year anyway. its impossible to find a decently priced flight even 2 months before you leave, at least in my area. i wonder if theres a catch to the contest tho. regardless good luck!! im wearing down my cheapass tickets to the grave lol

You don't; for the form you just have to look through their website and pick items for your "wishlist." (I just picked the most expensive ones. :p)

No problem! They don't do a great job of explaining it on the site but that's the "no purchase necessary" option for people who don't have a Verizon store close to them to physically go to (or who are just lazy like me.)
