Joo Won Cast in Chinese Film alongside Hangeng

Actor Joo Won has been cast in the Chinese film “Xiao You Qiao Mu.”

Chinese distributor and investment publisher China Film and entertainment agency Yue Hua Entertainment will be making this movie as a joint project and are planning on showing a new paradigm through this Korea-China joint film.

The original work which the movie will be based on is an internet novel that has been popular for four years.

For the lead role, along with Joo Won, they are currently looking for young people who are unique as actors. Hangeng, formerly of Super Junior and who filmed the upcoming movie “Transformers 4,” will be playing one of the male lead roles. The director of this movie is Jo Jin Kyu.

Lee Sang Kyu, the representative of the Korean branch of Yue Hua Entertainment, explained, “Joo Won’s drama is currently receiving a lot of love in China, and not too long ago when the news of Joo Won appearing in the drama ‘Nodame Cantible’ was published, many showed interest. We are anticipating that it will be gain a lot of popularity since many are anticipating China’s classic wave and the Hallyu drama.

Continuing on, Lee Sang Kyu said, “I believe a great synergy will occur for this movie as Joo Won works with the best Chinese actors.”

The filming will begin in May and are planning on traveling to Korea and China to film. The movie is a love story between one girl and three guys.

it's a mix of both, but the last year of so it's mostly his company, they are pushing him really hard to get his name out there and to make bank before he goes to the army but sadly they aren't searching for quality.
