I'm so invested in Team A now though I don't even really care about them vs the whole YG thingy anymore.

I reckon Winner will do quite well, their variety show is already much more interesting than exo who's technically their senior by two years.
given it's also because of the production team, but it just means that they have the right channel and all that can give them good push.

I think I'm too invested already and they haven't even debut.

Oh, and I hope that YG is honing all the members' song composing skills, because BI cannot carry the entire weight alone, with Bobby and Jinhwan occasionally helping. There's only so much he can handle before some things fall through the cracks, as evident by the last two rounds of battle. Junhwe should also be given the opportunity to choreograph their dances.

I mean...are you sure? I think YG wants it to be Hip Hop and R&B based but I think they all passed that stop a long time ago. As a company I feel like everyone is a lot more experimental than he would like them to be. Which is probably why people's albums are taking so long to be released.

ia i remember taeyang was talking about that too, like he wouldn't let go of certain songs because he felt so strongly about them but YG wouldn't budge. but i feel like that's life in record labels, there's always A&R, studio execs, etc with no fucking idea about music whatsoever

Competition with Team B and B.I. spurned them to improve drastically and, knowing they won and their debut comes at the cost of Team B, should motivate them to work harder and produce more.

No resting on their laurels and whatnot...literally the true hard work begins with debut

Anywho looking forward to Team B debuting next year...with another year of vocal training their singers will highly improve because they did leaps and bounds just on the show

i am kinda (very very) pissed off that winner are basically being told by their company that they don't belong. fuck yg. throw them under the bus because they won't conform to the try-hard, tired, overused swag gimmick he seems so fond. Honestly, if this is the way he's going to act towards them, I'd rather they disband now and try elsewhere.

and yeah i know that this article is only mentioning team b. he's coming off like a sore loser because his favourite didn't win. he shouldn't have bothered with WIN, no one liked it anyway.

tbh no one is like big bang because they are so diverse that they can't really be classified under one rigid type. team b won't ever be big bang since half the team is dead weight and less "yg-style" than some of the members of winner. just because he was greedy and snatched up people like seungyoon/seunghoon/akdong for their popularity, he's screwing them over because he doesn't really want them.

my anger stems from the ep of winnertv today when he basically told them off for being happy that they were debuting and that they should work harder. "look at bi he's working so hard even when he doesn't know when he will debut" well fuck winner for being happy, obviously this makes for a terrible work environment where they will be discouraged from working. no, we should make them feel miserable, unworthy, and guilty. Just because YG didn't get his way.

i am sick of seeing this new group get shade from their own company. what is the public going to think? how is this going to help them succeed? does he think this will endear him to anybody? "i fucked up so let's quietly disadvantage them and work up to the better group" winner, and the talented half of team b deserve better. yg has just been fucking with his artists left and right and it's making it hard for me to not give up on the company entirely. i rarely detest anyone as much as i do yg.

i just hope winner can keep their heads up and do their own thing and earn the freedom big bang is allowed because i want yg as involved as little as possible.

(a part of me wonders whether i'm being played and that this is exactly the kind of declaration of loyalty he is expecting. i have strong feelings for yg and winner)

Team B is horrid vocally, yeah Hanbin and Bobby are great but I doubt you'll debut a rap unit YG since you don't have the guts. If you want a new Big bang then you should get new trainees who can sing.

I do feel like Team A will not get the attention they deserve, even right now they feel like they've been left to fend for themselves but w/e, they're a great group and they have alot of potential.

I understand that Big Bang is the benchmark for YG music and success. However, if YG intend to create the next monster rookie, a group with their own colors and strength are needed. If you ask me, I think one Big Bang is enough. What I want a new group with distinctivew sound, you know..the music style that only belong to them. And I think Winner have that and I want to see them grow. I give Team B a try and imo can see the stereotype kpop standard in them or the 'yg' standard. While with Team A they have a 'indie' kind of feel to me.

firstly, yg's gotten them this reality show on mnet, they've also gotten the chance to travel to japan and perform in front of millions as the opener for big bang. all of which has helped them to gain new fans and more exposure.

and ngl why do i feel like whenever team b is given some sort of recognition for their work, everyone here gets all defensive about it. while i do have a hunch that over the course of win, yg grew to like team b a little more, its not like he doesnt like winner either. u guys act like he's never praised the member's of winner seriously. he just gave compliment to where its due, and u have to admit b.i works real effing hard for someone his age.
