His singing voice is always surprisingly nice. He reminds me of Drake with a little more range when he sings, and I'm ok with that. The lyrics were simple, but they made sense. I respect him branching out to write english songs as well. Not only that, but actually taking baby steps and doing intros/interludes rather than full on songs so he can get better with it.

"Monterlude is a song that while we were promoting No More Dream I really liked the intro and I used this song from time to time. Because my voice alone would be such a waste, I did it with Jungkook so the song will be more valuable~ later on also wrote the rap and tried making it longer. I wrote all the melody by myself!! It’d be good if you listen to it well."

oh my god this made me about x50000 times more hype for their new album tbh

i was worried about skool luv affair not being as hiphop and more cutesy due to the subject matter but this sounds amazing and true to their stylistic tastes, really does remind me of drake like the comment above said.
