so cruel of Miss A to tease us with 'Come Tonight' and not perform it as well. Hopefully they get to use it as either an intro or follow up performance stage.
Congrats to Trouble Maker for sweeping all the music show awards this week. \o/ I don't know how they're doing on the charts, but I hope miss A wins a bunch next week before Taeyang starts promoting on all the shows.
before taeyang released they were topping all the charts, now after taeyang's release it is kinda half and half, but the last time i checked they were number 1 in more charts than him, but even when they are not 1 they are on top 3, they seem to be selling really well. i think that if it wasn't released at this time (with infinite challenge songs, troublemaker and taeyang's comeback, all very strong contenders, and with byg and davinche coming back soon) they would have dominated the charts easily.
I think they will do better than Taeyang since they will have album sales. At least for the first week or so. They are about even on the music charts, maybe Taeyang is slightly ahead but he has no album and probably no broadcast points either since he wont be on any shows afaik.
miss a was so fucking evil by teasing us with come tonight and not giving it to us. man i really wonder what sup with their comeback only promoting one song, even taeyang only promoted one song, what is going? but my babies continue to slay, they look so hot on stage and by each stage i love the song more. (min still needs to calm down and keep the same pace as the girls) and i love how loud say a's are.
Taeyang only has 1 song. He's only releasing a Pre-Release track. Not sure why Miss A doesn't have a bigger comeback stage tho since they released a full album
I noticed that with Min also haha. She reminds me so much of when Hyuna was in wonder girls. Hyuna was always just doing a little more and didn't seem in sync with the rest of the girls. But I like it with Min. That group needs some of Mins spice
i don't think that she is adding any spice tbh, or that it is needed, because her pace is too quick and seems like she is dancing the party version of hush instead the normal one.
IA re: Min. I watched it again and I think its cause the girl's hairogaphy is a little more than needed.
But I also think it has to do with her fluidity.. or smoothness? Idk. The other girls are softer in how they move but Min is sharp in her movements. Lol
something i noticed with min when it comes to dancing is that while she is a freaking amazing dancer (one of the best in kpop without a doubt) it doesn't matter what kind of dance or choreography it is, she brings power and strength, things that she uses a lot on her solo freestyle dances and that comes from popping, a dance style which she loves and that somehow you see in every stage of hers in a way or another. while it is great and she is great, it doesn't translate well in all the types of songs and choreography, and that is not necessarily good in a group.
a group needs to be in sync and harmony when dancing, it doesn't mean dancing exactly like the other, but have the same flow, to be in the same, and during this hush choreography, min is too fast paced, and hitting it harder than it should, if she was dancing it by herself i wouldn't complain, or dancing the party version of the song (who is more fast paced and had stronger beats), i would have said that the other three girls were too slow. and the power and speed she is using right now makes her look like she is two beats ahead of all the girls.
but this song is very acoustic sounding, and like you mentioned, it required being more smooth with the flow, and have a more soft note, but that doesn’t mean lack power (in my opinion jia is the one owning the hush stages right now, girl is killing it).
Not happy with how much Bangtan was cut. Like they just cut out an entire portion. Yoongi didn't even get to do his parts! Troublemaker's points were amazing. The fact that they beat #2 & #3 by so much......I still think that they should've promoted Attention instead but Now is still so so good
I was waiting for Suga's rap, damn Inki for cutting out more than half of the song -_- I hope the rest of the shows don't cut out so much of the song, it's one of the few performances I can continuously watch and enjoy without getting bored.
Is it because there are so many artists this week that Topp Dogg, for example, didnt get to perform? I didnt think their promotions had ended. Also is that why lots of artists' stages got cut, like block b, bangtan, and UKiss? Im not 100% sure how the system works...
