Plot: The Crown Prince's wife gave birth to twins, but twins were considered an ominous sign. The twin daughter was supposed to be killed, but her mother begged to save her life. She hides her emotions from others and she makes biting remarks.

Jung Ji-Un (Ro Woon) is Lee Hwi’s teacher. Jung Ji-Un comes from a noble family. He is handsome, smart and an optimist who enjoys life. Crown Prince Lee Hwi develops feeling for Jung Ji-Un.

Synopsis by Soompi: Based on the manhwa (Korean comic) of the same name, “The King’s Affection” will tell the story of a pair of royal twins, one male and one female. Although the sister is initially abandoned for being female, she later disguises herself as a man to become the crown prince when her brother dies.

The drama airs from October 11th onwards on KBS and Netflix!

The state-run broadcaster KBS has denied agreeing that actor Kim Young-dae would step down from the lead role in its upcoming teen series "School 2021," scheduled to air in the latter half of the year.

The broadcaster was countering Kim's claim made in a statement released Thursday, following reports on his withdrawal from the series earlier in the day.

"Actor Kim Young-dae signed a contract to star in the series, and took part in meetings for lead characters and table readings," it said. "While he was preparing to start filming in July, his agency recently told us that he wanted to step down, without prior notice to the production team."

Adding that the broadcaster finds it "regrettable" that the news of his removal was released without any prior discussion with the team, it said: "The production company and KBS have not reached an agreement on Kim's withdrawal, and we are trying our best to reach an amicable outcome."

KBS has unveiled the cast for the latest series of its "School" franchise, with K-pop star Kim Yo-han as one of the lead actors.

The broadcaster announced, Monday, that the series, "School 2021," has confirmed that its lead actors will be Kim Yo-han, Kim Young-dae, Jo Yi-hyun, and Hwang Boreumbyeol. It is slated to go to air later this year.

"School 2021" will revolve around four high school students and their friendship, romance and journey to finding their identity.

Although the show started off a little bit clumsy for me in the beginning, I really appreciated the show in the end - the final episodes were beautiful but also quite heart-breaking. Big props to the young and upcoming actors in this project, they did amazing!
