Infinite Takes Over Album and Online Music Charts with New Album!!!

Infinite managed to top charts yet again with its new mini album New Challenge.

According to Hanteo Charts on March 25, Infinite′s New Challenge rose to the top of the album chart as soon as it was released. The album′s promotional single Man in Love also covered the online bases, as it topped various online music charts with its release on March 21.

A rep from Infinite′s agency told enews, “If the previous albums were mostly popular among teenagers, the most recent album has been garnering support from those in their 20s and 30s. We believe the change in concept brought on this change in age groups.”

The group has been promoting Man in Love with a new innocent concept of men who have fallen in love, leaving behind its charismatic image.

I read that it sold nearly 21k on release! Honestly the album is not my favorite, but you can't deny how genius Woollim is for appealing to both younger and older age groups. It's no wonder they surpassed JYP etc for 3rd spot in earnings last year.

Congrats to them but I find weird that this concept is being more appealing to people in their 20s/30s, since the "innocent & cute love" is more a teen thing ._. I thought that people in their 20s/30s prefered the sexy, fierce and mature concepts like The Chaser. At least I do.

I'm so glad this mini is doing well. The physical sales are inSANE for first day (21k omg, and that's not including the international orders bc they haven't shipped yet) and the new fans are picking up the older albums too cuz Infinitize is in 2nd on Hanteo at over 6k copies sold and at one point all their albums were in the top 10 real time chart save for Sunggyu's, which was #13. ; u ;
