I think Leo has a secret soft spot for Ken. In some earlier VixxTV clips he would sometimes smile and then restrain himself whenever Ken made a joke. Ken obviously pushes his buttons and makes fun of him on purpose to rile him up but he seems to do it out of affection and not in a rude, I-want-to-piss-you-off kind of way. Also there's this one clip where Leo is hugging Ken from behind and when he sees the camera he pulls away because...well he's Leo. I have my theories that aside from being shy, Leo doesn't like his high-pitched voice which is why he keeps quiet but that's a whole other topic.

ok sorry for this stupid rant but I always find any excuse to talk about my love for Ken/Leo. Their dynamics just fascinate me beyond belief.

no no you make a really good point. you can always see it in the way he kind of smiles and bops Ken on the head all the time. I'd just really like to see Leo interact more because he must have a good dynamic with them but he's so camera shy.

Yeah, it's just subtle things which is how Leo roles. He is the master of all things subdued and quiet. I definitely agree that it's camera shyness more than anything else. He just seems so genuinely happy to be a singer that being an idol must be pretty daunting, but he'll come out his shell soon enough. Other idols have been shy like him in the beginning but they pop like colorful flowers later on.

Mte! He totally has a soft spot for Ken (and the rest of the group). He can be quite playful with all of them when he wants too. Nothing big but little small things like poking Hongbin while he is posing as a work of art, fixing Hyuk's bib, and what you said about hugging Ken. I think his high-pitched plays apart in why he keeps quite, too. For a guy, having a voice that high is not something you want b/c it's not deemed ~manly. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he was subconscious about it.

I wish we could observe more of their dynamics also but with Leo being so reserved and introverted it will take a while for Leo to be more open showing affection for Ken and the rest on camera willingly.

Yeah! VIXX in general all seem really close, in a sincere way, so they all must care about each other which is why they occasionally poke fun of Leo, but it's all in good fun. They know how he is behind the cameras so they must try to get some of that out for the fans to see. Leo's so shy he can't even do a heart for the fans most of the time and it probably doesn't help having fanservice kings like Ken and N in the group because he seems even more shy. Yeah, when I first saw Leo I'd imagined he'd have a Band Yongguk type voice, but now his voice matches his quiet personality. Also Ken loves to make fun of his voice, so maybe that plays a part.

Yeah, I'm glad they have this show where it seems pretty candid for the most part and we get to see them be silly with each other. I just thought of Minho. He was the quietest little guy in the beginning and now he talks and makes a fool out of himself like the best of em. Leo will come around but he probably needs some time to get comfortable with the idea of having so many people care about him.
