U-KISS‘ Dongho got a ‘back hug’ from genius guitarist Jang Ha Eun on the latest ‘Star King‘.
On the March 16th broadcast, siblings Jang Ha Eun and Jang Ha Jin prepared an amazing guitar performance. Dongho was unable to look away from their expert guitar playing, which Rainbow‘s Jaekyung pointed out.
He explained, “She’s so pretty playing guitar.” MC Kang Ho Dong then suggested Dongho and Jung Ha Eun play the instrument together. The professional guitarist tried to lead Dongho, helping him from behind. The idol was unable to hide his nervousness, getting giddy with laughter from the ‘back hug’.

Dongho is such a 20 year old guy when it came to the girl and was so cute (even though he want to be known as manly now). And boy was I surprised at how good he was at playing guitar! I mean, I knew Kevin played, but Dongho? Not at all. You can see the whole show here here and here unsubbed. The guests are so darn amazing and talented! Like wow.
Edit: Please, please look past the hair. Tons of people saying it looks horrible is not helping Dongho with whatever it is he is going through currently. I'll explain my opinion on that in the comments if you'd like.

I'm all for it anyways if it makes him look as happy as he did here. ^____^ Who's with me? Let's get some theories about what dating style you think he would have or which hyung would he go to for advice. We saw a few U-Kiss members on We Are Dating, so that is a starting point for what members are like. (STORY IDEA GO AWAY. I DON'T NEED ANOTHER ONE. LOL) I think he would first go to Eli with a little side of Kevin because he's by Eli when Dongho comes for advice, then Hoon AJ Kiseop and lastly Soohyun with Xander and Kibum thrown somewhere in the mix. I see a lot of fail on the way to being good at dating.

I heard the group Seventeen or whatever thegroup with the huge number of members that has been talked about even has a member that's eleven! Eleven for goodness sake. People need to take a second and think about these sorts of things before they say things. Idols have feelings too. I mean, I can understand if it was constructive criticism, but a part of thinks we've entered the point of bashing.
This also has me thinking about how sensitive Kevin is taking all of this. The Shin family and Dongho's personal friends too.

Date: 2013-03-18 08:04 am (UTC)it's kind of similar here, where people are ragging on dongho for his hair of all things, when hair is something that idols have no control over 99% of the time and when there are way bigger issues at play behind the scenes, like serious illness, etc. yeah, he's bratty sometimes, but that's par for the course with every teenager to walk the face of the earth, let alone one who's been in the entertainment industry from such a young age.
i'm sure that he (and whoever else) will get through it though. even if someone naturally has thin skin, after enough injury, it'll eventually get thick.

Date: 2013-03-18 08:32 am (UTC)That sort of thing is one reason why I'm really glad AJ is in U-Kiss; he debuted at fourteen with PARAN (a group that got overshadowed by Super Junior). I sincerely hope he and Dongho talk about things seeing as they would really understand each other. AJ's a psychology major as well, and that's an added bonus. I know that no matter who is going through what, all the members of U-Kiss are there for each other because U-Kiss is one big family that loves each other!
It's easy to take injury/pain and bottle it up inside and let it fester because not everyone develops thick skin. (I did that, and the results were far from good. All I needed to do was communicate with my parents.) Developing thick skin depends all depends on the person.

Date: 2013-03-19 01:18 am (UTC)i don't feel compelled to care as much about biases of mine who are older or around my age (though i obv still care about them) as i do with those who are younger, especially ones who have the image of lovin' them some noonas, whether it's authentic or whether it's a front put on by their companies. i have like, a primal urge to feel protective over them, etc, which i'm sure is why k-pop pushes the noona thing so much, since it plays on peoples' emotions.
anyway, with this dongho situation (or any other situation), there isn't much that the fans can do but watch and wait and hope for the best. it's unrealistic and a bit irrational to think that we can do anything more.

I think we can send Dongho and the members encouraging messages and do what we can to support them. I know KISSmes support means the world to the boys.
