Another weed scandal!




According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department, TV entertainer Bianca Mobley was indicted for smoking marijuana without physical detention. She was sent back home after the initial investigation. According to the Police, Bianca pleaded guilty to some of her charges regarding smoking marijuana.

However, the case gets a little more complicated as Bianca’s a US citizen, who has violated the Korean law. According to detective Choi Jae Ho of Seoul Metropolitan Police Department, Bianca is most likely going to be investigated and penalized according to the Korean laws due to the principle of territorial privilege of jurisdiction. However as this is still an on-going investigation, Seoul Metropolitan Police Department stated that they cannot give any firm answer regarding the case.

Meanwhile, Bianca Mobley is from New York, USA. She made her first TV appearance of KBS “Chit Chat with Beautiful Ladies” in 2008. She garnered much attention and popularity almost instantly with her lovely appearances and Gyeongsang-do dialect. She married a CEO of an online shopping mall company in 2011.

She'll most likely get deported and get a 5 year ban from entering the country. Most countries do this bc the cost of jailing a non citizen could be put toward other things

It might and she could get lucky with paying a fine and getting probation. But usually, they revoke the visa and kick the person out of the country.

i know a girl who got caught smoking and driving without a license while she was an exchange student in korea. this happend like a week before she was supposed to leave. i think she ended up paying like 1000$ in order to leave the country but had to pay more. she didn't do so, so the police tracked her down and her parents found out. Never liked that girl so i was having such a good laugh when i heard that story 8D
So yeah, dun think she will get jail time. Probably will have to pay

I think she will get just a fine (and maybe some community service) and if she gets jail time it will be just suspended sentence (meaning she doesn't have to go to jail unless she breaks a law again during certain period)

What in the hell is up with celebs admitting to the charges though? Probably to stay out of jail I suppose....but if police are just relying on "he said she said" evidence to investigate, I'd deny my ass off for smoking in Korea....especially if I wasn't a Korean citizen.

Yea I figured she admitted to getting a lesser sentence. But if it were me, I'd just stay silent and ask for a lawyer, especially if there were a lot of charges (or serious ones like Daniel). But I don't know how/what evidence they had to accuse her, nor do I know the search and seizure laws in Korea. That's why I'd lawyer up so I could know all the options before spilling the beans. Or at least stall long enough to get clean urine from someone lawls.
