I love their title song. Not the jazzy romp I was hoping for, but really laid back and a lot lighter (and less melodramatic) than their previous ones ♥.
I like the album as a whole. Flows so well from 1 track to another. stays classy. everyone sounds amazing. but I wish they would have a more distinctive title track. I think reading you would have been cuter for the title.
I do agree... it's sort of a recurring problem for them, isn't it? :/
Imo the main problem is that Hitman Bang keeps insisting on writing their title tracks, even though the last awesome title track he gave them was Never Let You Go, lbr (- or maybe I Did Wrong, idk, it never really worked for me but everyone seemed to love it). Result: they keep churning out samey, nice-but-not-incredible title tracks, which are consistently outshone by the tracks on their albums penned by other people.
The man needs to back off for a bit and let someone with a different aesthetic have a go. /rant
I just loved how they barely made it through one performance with the full choreo before management realised they couldn't hack it and took half the moves out. bbs are not so good at multitasking xD.
I actually like One Spring Day more than I thought I would - the verses at least (teensy harmonies, I hear youuu \o/). <3 Still not a fan of the chorus though.
The first half of the album is sort of blending together into a large mass for me right now, though I don't really mind since it's a v melodic mass lol. xD Sunshine is cheesy but happifying haha. My fave tracks are the last two.
As with Way Of Love, the songs on the album are stronger than the title.
Coming to Me (the last one, and Yiruma's composition I believe) would have made a fantastic title song. Jinwoon and Seulong's harmonies in the second verse (1:48-2:08) are mind scramblingly orgasmic. Reading You and Sunshine are fantastic as well.

Date: 2013-03-05 09:44 pm (UTC)kind of off topic: still sad about 2pm not coming back in April. Well whatever they have to do to make great music, I guess.

Date: 2013-03-05 09:58 pm (UTC)one spring day started really nicely then it went a predictable route during changmin's and jo kwon's parts. jinwoon and ong seemed underutilized.
back then is quite a nice midtempo song. someone really sounded good and i can't tell who it is. i'm guessing it's ong.
sunshine reminded me of a boyz 2 men song. although, i'm not really sure they have a song that sounds like sunshine. hehe!
forgetting you is quite nice, too. i like the way they sing in this song.
