The numbering of the episodes is kinda confusing. This is officially episode 3 of the series since the first episode was a summary of the show ~episode 0~. So this is the 4th episode, the uploader just chose to number it as episode 3 because this is the third uncut episode. If that makes sense.

Date: 2013-03-06 01:31 pm (UTC)when you're accustomed to seeing many different types of asian people it definitely helps. it took a while to familiarize myself and learn to differ chinese, koreans, and japanese. south-east asians are way different from east-asians imo. but maybe because I'm from south-east asia. people who are even more familiar with one nationality might even be able to tell others' ethnicity from of their facial structure.

They kinda look like south-american people? Idk, but SE asians and E asians are pretty different and east asian people are different between them too, so I get annoyed when some people call every asian person a "chinese".

Date: 2013-03-07 01:35 am (UTC)some of SE asians could pass as chinese because there's a lot of chinese immigrant since a long time ago so we get mixed up a lot. but paler SE-asians are often marked as "chinese" even though they're not. I know that feeling, there's so many different nationalities but people don't want to think and just lump it under "Chinese" :/
when I went to the US people would see me and say "Xie xie" or "Ni hao" and I was like WTF I didn't even think I look chinese. even with good intentions to be friendly it was uncomfortable being identified as something you're not :/
