After talking smack about her ex-beau, Minwoo and then getting a severe rebuke from Kim Dong Wan, Amy has gotten even more flak from a reporter who claims that she is a freaking blatant liar!

Amy had appeared on the 15th July episode of tvN-enews, to explain about what she had said about her ex-beau, Minwoo in the news. Amy emphasized on the fact that most of her statements that were published in the news were fake and that she felt hurt and depressed over it. She also said that she wanted to clear up any misunderstandings with Kim Dong Wan after he had severely rebuked her, "Don't talk about Minwoo anymore after you have broken up."

The real truth is that Amy had an interview with an ISPlus reporter on the 6th to promote her drama, Apgujung Diary. The first part of the interview revolved around asking Amy about her drama and she gave the impression of being an intelligent lady, with her gift of the gab. The reporter was afraid that Amy might still be hurt over her breakup with Minwoo and carefully asked her about the reasons that led to the breakup.

But the reporter was surprised by Amy's strong response, "I feel that this is something that's in the past and thus I don't feel any pain over it at all. Although we were incompatible in many ways, I felt that I have done everything that I could have possibly done and thus I don't have any regrets. I don't even remember how he looks like now."

Amy continued to talk at great lengths about her relationship with Minwoo, without holding anything back even though it was her first time seeing this particular reporter. Nearing the end, the reporter asked again, "If the contents of today's interview was published, would it make you feel uncomfortable in any way?" Amy replied, "Not at all, this is my character. I feel very good to be able to converse with you like this today."

In actual fact, on that particular day, there were many parts of Amy's interview that weren't appropriate to be published at all. Amy had said, "XX is really bad" ,"He was really good to me at the beginning, but after a while, he started lying to me about everything", "I was fooled by his eyes that became a crescent whenever he smiles", "There were too many occasions where I continued to stick to him even though he had just lied to me", "Thinking about it now, I feel that he is a classic XX", etc statements that talked bad about Minwoo. All of these were unedited and straight from Amy's mouth."

On the following day, the reporter rechecked the article over and over again, making sure it was without any statements that might inconvenience both parties and also edited it to make it sound more polished before making it available offline/online.

Amy's manager called the reporter on the same afternoon, "I saw the report and was pretty worried beforehand because Amy's a very straight-forward person. I am really relieved after seeing the report and counting on you for the follow-up reports."

But it was the total opposite on 15th July in the tvN studios where Amy claimed that she was innocent. During the 1 hour studio interview, Amy kept insisting 3 times, "I never once said anything like that during the interview with the reporter." When the program was ending, Amy said, "I will only show the real me in future to viewers and there will be no edited versions of my news as well", words that perplexed the reporter further.

The reporter ended by saying, "I am not sure if Amy has a habit of forgetting what she has done or said. Trying to turn the fans onto her side with this tactic of saying that she's a frank and innocent person but yet doing otherwise (blatant liar) is not something that's encouraged definitely. If Amy continues to act in this manner in future, I am sure that no one, including her loved ones would stay by her side for long."

Not sure if it's related at all but it was revealed on 17th July that the production for tvN's drama Apgujung Diary has been canned even though the first 2 episodes have already been completed. The drama starring Go Eun Ah, Jeon Hye Bin, Amy and Hwang Seung Un was based on a novel of the same title, about the lives of 20 year old females in the locales of Apgujung and Chungdam-dong. No particular reason was given although tvN claimed that it was something internal that forced them to stop the production and had nothing to do with the cast or production crew.

I've always felt iffy about mouthing off exes in relationships because I really think it does take two hands to clap in everything.

You cannot solely blame one person for the destruction of a relationship, and while we never know what went through the relationship they had, it's really unclassy for her to keep mouthing off the guy and claim she didn't afterwards.

I mean, despite how he treated you, how you act post-relationship is pretty much a reflection of how your character is really like.
