Simon & Martina, founders and faces of YouTube channel Eatyourkimchi, recently sat down with K-hiphop group MFBTY (Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, Bizzy) for an intimate interview. Apart from the inevitable awkwardness pursued by the interviewers it's worth a watch for the awesomeness that is MFBTY.

I love this interview. I didn't even notice EYK, this was all about MFBTY and it was fucking awesome. Their commentary and critiques about Korean hip-hop was interesting. I would like listen to JK and Tasha expand on this topic further, because it's clear that they've had extensive conversations about the expansion of Korean hip-hop and some have differing opinions about it.

JK praised Jay Park, I feel like I can never criticize him again >__<

lol, Tiger's "Is my curl cool?" to Tasha killed me.

JK's observation that K-pop rapers have to pop their necks is ON POINT. lol

Loved both parts of the interview. I didn't see Simon or Martina being awkward except for once when they initially started going on about Simon's crotch dance. Tiger and Tasha encouraged it though, so really it was just how it was edited that made it seem awkward. Everyone appeared to have a good time, and I love that Simon and Martina can get guests to be a part of skits and be goofy. I also love that you can kind of see a more real side/reaction to and from the artists they interview, just because they're unprepared to be interviewed that way. I'm thankful this interviewed happened and I'm crossing my fingers for the contest. XD

Personally, I hate the way they act (like that weird try to hard to be funny/cool/cultured thing they do bugs the hell out of me), they seem over the top to me. It doesn't seem as bad in this interview (minus the beginning) as it used to be, but then again I haven't seen a lot of their more recent interviews/reviews for reasons.

I don't hate on their success per se, I just can't stand watching their videos most of the time and don't understand their popularity (other than the western point of view I guess).

me too. i don't LOVE love them, but they're fun to watch and i enjoy their sometimes less than politically correctness. everyone is so very pressed about every fucking thing these days. yes sometimes we make jokes at other people's expense, but it's not the end of the world. it's like nowadays, it's a sin to have an opinion. this is the internet. people on this site say much worse things. but whatever, S+M are making money off their stuff so good for them.
