O. M. G. IT'S SORT OF AN X-5 COMEBACK?????

I lied, it's more like a new group debut but with Sulhu/Jinwan, Taefung/Donghyun, and Haewon.




Another boy group was revealed to be preparing for its debut as news surrounding five member group Lu:kus (pronounced 'look us') was revealed earlier today. Profiles and pictures for all five members were also revealed through the company's official website.

The new group will be under Box Media and consists out of five members, including Lee Donghyun ('91), Jung Haewon ('91), Min Kyungjin ('92), Choi Seokhoon ('93), and maknae Kim Jinwan ('95). Fans of X-5 might notice familiar names as Donghyun, Jinwan and Haewon; from which the first two were known as Taefung and Sulhu respectively; were members of the five member group before they left their company Open World Entertainment late last year. Choi Seokhoon, on the other hand, already released a trot single a few years back as Sukhooni.


There's no news on what Zin is doing, apparently he and Ghun aren't idols anymore. Here's a pic for us fans of theirs. Also Sulhu lost all his baby fat and it's weird :/ In the Koreaboo article there's a bunch of profile shots of each of the members.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sad Zin isn't going to be in it though... he was my X-5 bias. ;~; And Ghun's doing his military duty so that makes sense too.. BUT I'M GLAD THE OTHER THREE ARE COMING BACK!!!!!!!

The most important question has yet to be answered:

Are the two non-X-5 members tall?????

(Oh, the iboxmedia website has profiles for 5 boys ranging from 181 to 188cm in height... the 1992 and 1993 boys are 181 and 183cm, so shorter, but not really short. And Ghun was supposed to be the shortest member of X-5, right?)

honestly, i was kind of hoping they'd have a comeback once Ghun came back. they'd even been given permission to keep their name, and… this is just a disappointment, really. i'm really happy Sul, Tae and Haewon are going to be doing something, because they shouldn't feel forced to be completely inactive because of Ghun's decision but didn't they say they'd be waiting until they could resume their activities as a group?

without Zin, i don't know. X-5 rapper line were my babies, I'm going to miss their dynamic though i want to support the new group, too. geh, i'm confused and kind of bummed, excuse me.

and does anyone think that new kid on the bottom right looks like a not-as-attractive Hoya or is it just me?

I think that's why ghun just went to the army or didn't even consider joining another group, he was already in 3Chongsa and he was like...the STAR in X-5 when this shit happened so he probably got fed up.

I'm super late to this post but I needed to comment because I'm sad now. ): Haewon, Ghun, and Zin were my favs and now that 2/3 are gone... it just won't be the same. Ghun & Zin had so much charisma and stage presence, I hope they'll perform through other mediums in the future. But anyways, good luck to all of them!
