SHINee find their “Dream Girl” on ‘M! Countdown’!

SHINee‘s back!

Their newest hit, “Dream Girl”, shot to the top of real-time music charts immediately after its release. The song is the title track of SHINee’s third album, which is split up into two versions: ‘Chapter 1. Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You’ and ‘Chapter 2. Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of Me’, which won’t be out until April.

Jonghyun clears up misunderstandings related to dropping out of high school

Jonghyun cleared up what he really meant in an earlier interview.

The interview for Nylon with SHINee was revealed earlier today, where he was asked, “What do you especially regret?“. He answered, “Dropping out. I don’t think it was that great to drop out of high school to go to the music school. I felt like I was wasting my time studying back then, but now that I look back on it, I don’t think it had to be like that. But still, it’s not that I have a lot of regret and feel guilty.”

After he read how his own words came out in the interview, he must have realized that it was open to some misinterpretation. So Jonghyun took to his Twitter to clarify what he really meant by sharing, “Going to Smi (Seoul Music Institute) was the most important turning point in my life, and the best decision. There must have been a miscommunication of some sort. I feel disappointed about it all, but I don’t have any regrets.“

SHINee’s Key thanks fans for supporting their comeback

SHINee‘s Key showed his appreciation for fans for supporting their official comeback with “Dream Girl“.

On February 19th, Key posted on SHINee’s official me2day, “Sending a little bit of warmth in the cold winter with a picture taken in Thailand.” He added, “Our comeback is coming soon, and I really thank everyone who went through the trouble to come to the showcase and the fans who showed a lot of support for the teasers. Let’s meet soon.”

SHINee will launch promotions for their 3rd album,’Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You‘, with comeback stages this week, starting with Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown‘ on the 21st followed by performances on KBS‘ ‘Music Bank‘ on the 22nd, MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘ on the 23rd, and SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on the 24th.

SHINee goes on an eating spree on ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day’

The SHINee members revealed their ‘eating rooms’.

The ‘eating room’ is a popular trend, where celebrities are caught pretty much breathing in their food. The SHINee members have their own unique personality, and it was put on full display even when they were eating on ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘.

In Thailand, Onew carefully analyzed every single food that he ate. In England, Key frowned and worried about his weight even as he drank a single cup of coffee. Taemin ate the various foods in Switzerland and gave a simple, short comment on each item. Jonghyun was indifferent to the cameras in Japan as he completely ignored them and focused solely on eating his ramen.

However, the member that fit the ‘eating room’ style the best was none other than ‘flaming eater’ Minho in England, who devoured every single bite with passion.

I think this is becoming the routine for every SM comebacks. They lip syncing for the first week of come back and sing live afterwards. I don't know why. OK, just watched the performances and I'm so pleased!!!

"Beautiful" was much better than I expected! It's not my favorite song on the album, so I was a little worried, but their performance was wonderful. They were so bright, adorable, and well...SHINee! I need some gifs of them bopping during the intro. I also loved the little dance during the second chorus.

Also, Tae looked fine as fuck in "Dream Girl". I don't even know what to do with that.

Well, it's never too late for more education. I mean, I dropped uni a couple years ago because I HATED my degree but I'm gonna enter this year again for another degree that I'm really interesting in and I'm studying my ass off for it. Like I said, never too late :)

It makes me sad that we didn't get live vocals though I wonder if it's because the fan cheers were too loud. I've heard of the shows replacing the live sound with the track when the cheers overpower the singing... Whatever the reason it makes the performance just not the same. But at least we got some Onew spinning to make up for that so I can't be too sad ;)
