!!!!!!!KIM WOO BIN LIKELY TO STAR IN UPCOMING MOVIE 'FRIENDS 2'!!!!!!!!
Actor Kim Woo-bin is likely to star in the upcoming movie "Friends 2".
According to several sources, Kim Woo-bin has been chosen for the movie "Friends 2" as the son of Jang Dong-gun.
He is currently looking through the offer and he will soon meet with the production to discuss things soon enough but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Joo Jin-mo and Yoo Oh-seong have decided to star in the movie.
Meanwhile, "Friend 2" by Kwak Gyeong-taek will start from where Yoo Oh-seong in the role of Joon-seok get out of prison.

Date: 2013-02-20 03:54 am (UTC)I really, really don't want him to be in Friends 2 since every sequel or spin off from the original movie has flopped and the story of that franchise is too out-fashioned for this generation. I also have some problems with the director as well... Plus he needs to play some sweet, nice characters and Friends 2 will be anything but. Ugh, I hope he refuses.
He has another fan signing event in Ilsan soon!

Date: 2013-02-20 04:11 am (UTC)I'm on the fence about Friends 2... on one hand, you're 100% right that sequels usually are not good, and don't do as well as the original, PLUS the fact this is a bit of the "usual" role for him. on the other hand, it might appeal to a different audience (wider fan base), is a lead role (yay!!), and may be more complex than the previous "gangster" roles... UGH whatever it is, I hope he thinks long and hard, and really considers it among his other offers!
I'd edit in the video, but since it's just him talking (which is entertaining enough for me...) it's not subbed so I might hold off in hopes of a translation. thanks though :) his "FIGHTING!" was so dorky and adorable XD. I laughed a little <3.

XD ugh yeah. I'm disappointed too that the main translator on Tumblr says she's unable to do extensive translating at the moment. which means no one I know of is working on those radio shows -_-.

Debating on whether I should order W and GEEK - he's on the cover for geek but to be honest i don't like his hairstyle all that much haha. W and Singles I have no clue how many pages there would be...

On Friend casting rumor, I'm on fence about it. I'm happy that it is a lead(finally!!) but on the other hand, he done that iljin character too much already. I'm hoping he moves away from that type of role and tackle a new ones. Plus it is a sequel/prequel/whatever and I generally iffy about it cause it always flop.
