Even if Korea has different laws from my country, I'm pretty sure the cost of repairs would legally be the responsibility of the side that caused the accident and not the victim.

I don't agree with every thing in this link but basically in Korea all parties involved in an accident are some % liable and have to pay some% of the others damages. If you are driving a domestic car and are 10% liable then the perpetrator who is driving and expensive foreign car is 90% liable. The 10% of repairs damages to the expensive car is most likely greater than the amount the perpetrator will pay you for 90% of your damages.

OT, but I consider to actually start taking driving lessons (now that I finally saved up the money) and I am so scared - simply because I have never ever driven in a car before (a lot of people I know had driven in the car of a family member or something). A lot of people I know say "don't worry, it is like riding a bike' and things like that, but I am just so terrified, lol.

I was so scared to learn how to drive when I first started. It's normal. It didn't help that in my first official lesson, my teacher made me drive in the biggest, busiest, and most crowded highway in my country. WTF my knees were shaking the whole time, even after I got home.

But, it is something you should learn because you never know when an emergency happens and you need to drive someone somewhere. :) Maybe play your face music while driving. It helps a lot.
