2. [+222, -7] They rushed things a bit because it was the final episode but I still enjoyed watching it. When Heung Soo said to sleep at Nam Soon's house and when you see this screen, you can see all five of them there ㅋㅋㅋ Lee Kyung takes care of Jung Ho and Ji Hoon asks to turn the lights off. Then he gets his pillow stolen and you can hear a crash ㅋㅋ Even in the back, Heung Soo totally live together ㅋㅋㅋ (TN: Sorry if this is confusing, I have no idea what scene she is trying to describe)

3. [+196, -2] So right till the very end, they will be waiting for Jung Ho!!!! Ah, so disappointing that it's over but I think it was a clean, satisfying ending! Nam Soon ♥ Heung Soo, be forever.

I haven't watched the show but this show seems like a giant Bromance, no girls in sight. Except for Dani going "awesome".

It is very bro centered, but there are two really cute girl friendships and quite a few female characters- and while the bromance does happen, it's throughout the whole drama

I liked the final episode. I thought it was a good wrap up for the series. It showed how a lot of the characters had changed for the better. Ji Hoon, besides becoming a more dedicated student apologized for past actions, Ha Kyung had finally distanced herself enough from school to cut class for another student, Kang Teacher accepted his new role as a more personal teacher, Nam Soon + Heung Soo became a team/full friends working as the hyungs of the class, etc.

That said, it broke my heart a little to see Jung Ho not get a happy ending. I like that even though in the end, he was essentially forced out of school, because of his circumstances, he told Teacher Kang that he wouldn't live badly. As if to show, that even if he hadn't been able to graduate, all the effort him and Teacher Jang had put in had made him a better person. He wasn't willing to turn toward crime to make money anymore.

Only one thing really bugged me about the episode, and that's how Teacher Jang handled Jung Ho's situation with needing his dad to come to/call the school. She KNEW Jung Ho's father was abusive, so honestly why she 1. took so long to offer to talk to Jung Ho's dad for him and 2. didn't take precautions to protect Jung Ho after she DID call him, I have no idea. So that really bothered me. The only thing that saved it, is that afterward you could tell she knew she'd made a big mistake.

Overall, I thought the series was good. It dragged in the middle, and I think that could have been avoided if Nam Soon and Heung Soo hadn't had the same conversations over and over in the middle, and instead they spent more time showing us the transformations of the other kids, specifically, Ha Kyung and Kang Joo.

I think I'm going to rate this drama a 7 or 8 out of 10.

P.S. I will always remember this as the drama that introduced me to my massive crush Kim Woo Bin though!!!

SAME. that part made me tear up, especially when they showed yikyung and jihoon worrying about him at school.

school 2013 was such a good drama to watch and it really got to me a lot. school 2014 pls I need this back in my life even though sequels tend to suck

edit: the one thing I would have liked to see was more backstory on some of the secondary characters, ESPECIALLY YOUNGWOO. I teared up when he said he'd be okay from now on too.

why isn't the special subbed yet!! I really wish the whole cast would get a strong heart special, that would be perfect! i liked the last ep, though i agree they rushed it..i really hate when dramas add eps but i feel like this drama needed at least another ep or so? i am sad they didn't have minki's bro come out of his room, i was waiting for that. i dont like it when dramas leave things undone.

i grew too attached to this drama, the post drama depression is really bad =( probably because it's so relatable. ugh i'll keep dreaming for a school 2014 to happen.

i'm sure lee jongsuk and kim woobin will get a lot more opportunities in the future due to this drama, so i'm anticipating their future works!

This drama was so wonderful ;~;

I love that I can finally watch a drama without romance getting in the way. Whenever there's romance in dramas, it just drags on and on and there's always a lack of communication and what not. Though I did ship Teacher Jung and Teacher Kang lol

Besides that, I loved how slowly throughout the entire drama you start to love each and every character, except Eun Hye and that other chick who's name escapes me, I felt no pity for them. I remember despising Oh Jung Ho in the beginning, but towards the end for him, he still bugged me but I really wanted the best for him.

I even cried in this drama when Min Ki was going to kill himself, my heart was beating so fast for him and I'm so glad Teacher Jung came and helped him. I cried so much at that part. ;~;

And then the bromance, oh my god the bromance! It was so beautiful. I'm so glad Namsoon and Heungsoo got to be friends like the old times again. I loved their ending, they both finally found meaning again.

All in all, this was a wonderful drama and now I have a new actor bias, Lee Jong Suk. He did great in this drama and I loved his character from start to finish. AND JESUS CHRIST HE'S SO GOOD LOOKING

This sfm! I was so relieved that no sudden out of no where romance took a place in the drama because it would've spoiled the real meaning behind School 2013. I liked that the drama was based mostly on close relationships in all the types aside from romance alone.

there are some pretty big loose ends the drama left (minki's brother was the biggest one imo) but even so i like it. i think maybe they might've covered them better if they had been able to shoot 4 more episodes and ended up having to rush it when the schedule clash happened

i have some ships but i do love that romance was only hinted in subtext and it doesn't take over the whole thing. i'm probably alone but heungsoo and hakyun are my crackship lol

The special sucked D: took out all my feels for the final episode. as much as I love Namsoon/Heungsoo it was all about the two and they kept making jokes about them dating, which kinda cheapened the nice bromance/friendship they had going on in the drama in my opinion.

Ugh, I'm watching High Kick and Vampire Idol and it's nice to see Jongsuk and Woobin in such different characters. But I hope they star together in another drama! They had such good chemistry together :D

I LOVE the ending. As much as it's sad that Jungho didn't get a happy ending, I think it was absolutely realistic and definitely for the best: he says it himself that he can't rely on Teacher Kang or others to pay for education and his only choice is to quit school. It's sad but that's the harsh reality and I'm glad they left the ending open so people can have it both ways. Teacher Jung didn't end class - it's a nice way of showing that the things are still in present, in a "-ing" mode for the students, and their future isn't yet set in stone.

As much as I love Heungsoo/Namsoon pair (well who doesn't) I would love to see the drama develop a bit more on Heungsoo/Kangjoo. I shipped this 2 together!! Would love to see them bicker and kick each other shin n see all the chemistry sparking ^^ Would be fun to see them falling on each other. Well i guess that will only materialized in my imagination. Can anyone forward me to a nice fanfic comm on this 2 :)

I love the final episode and how close to reality it is. Of course I prefer the perfect big bow final like any other drama but it was so realistic. Makes me look forward for new season of School, if any. There are several plots that can be done better but it is still good nevertheless. I never thought that I would cry for Jungho but I did. He was such an ass but when he told Kang Teach not to worry too much, I just ended up crying. Kudos to Kwang Jung Wook for that. This drama makes me care for all the characters & hopes for the best for them, well except the mean girl & Dani, but you get what I mean...

The bromance!!! The best bromance imo. Oh all the feelings!!! My source of withdrawal. Hopefully we be able to see LJS+KWB in new project together again. The way they portrayed their friendship makes me envious. Makes me love Kim Woo Bin so much more. Liked him since White Christmas and I hope that he will pick a good follow up drama after this. Can't wait to see him in new project. And I found an actor to look forward to, the ever beautiful lips Lee Jong Suk.

The finale left me in tears three (if I count correctly) times. One was when Gye Na Ri and Hye Sun moment, then during the jihoon-youngwoo moment and lastly during sechan and jungho moment. Omg my feels for this last episode is overwhelming!

I like the open ending. For all we know the last period of school is yet to end and the two teachers are still waiting for jungho. He could be coming, he could be not.

School 2013 is now officially my favourite Korean drama ever, afterr all those dramas I've watched!
