JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong Opens Himself Up to His Fans in His First Solo Concert

Kim Jae Joong launched an entirely new form of concert never before seen in the country, bringing together a fanmeeting and concert in one for his Your, My and Mine concert.

The concert previously broke records by bringing down the ticket reservation site′s servers for the longest time and bringing in the biggest number of overseas IPs to the site.

Kim Jae Joong′s fanmeeting and mini concert Your, My and Mine took place for a whopping 240 minutes on January 26, inviting 8,000 fans to enjoy the three-part concert. The first two parts ′Your′ and ′My′ were put together as fanmeetings, while the third part ′Mine′ was a mini concert. The singer not only sang and danced, but also acted, cooked, imitated other singers and talked with his fans.

As much as the audience had been anticipating a colorful performance, Kim Jae Joong delivered with even more than was expected of him.

Boom, the special MC for the concert′s fanmeeting section, heightened spirits with his unending adlib jokes. Kim Jae Joong didn′t fall behind, showing how excited he was about his performance by talking his heart out. He said he had set himself down, and he certainly proved it by showing off his wit and humor.

He brought a member of the audience onstage to reenact a scene from the drama Lovers in Paris, and imitated Jo Sung Mo and band Y2K′s vocalists while talking about the talents he had put down in his profile for his debut.

For his performances, of course, he was able to conquer every genre, going from rock to ballad and dance.

Kim Jae Joong not only presented himself to his audience, but also picked out lucky fans from the audience to give out more personal, individual presents. He put a necklace around the neck of the winner of the ′Golden Bell with Jae Joong′ game, and pinned brooches on the shirts of the final three who had won a rock paper scissors game.

He provided a glimpse into his everyday life by calling up fellow JYJ member Kim Junsu in a surprise video call, catching Kim Junsu alone at home watching TV. He then cooked his favorite dish rappokki (tteokbokki with ramyeon noodles) onstage and fed forkfuls to three fans who had been chosen in a random draw.

Everything the fans wanted, he granted. When he mentioned that he was practicing Confession following his performance of Im Jae Bum′s For You and fans wanted him to sing it, he immediately sang out a part from the song without any accompaniment.

He even performed the ′one plus one is gwiyomi (cute)′ at requests from his fans though he had never done it before.

The highlight of the show was the third part, the mini concert Mine, in which fans were able to hear Kim Jae Joong what he did best: Sing. The singer sang a total of 10 songs including the encore tracks, mixing together tracks from his mini album I and covers of songs from other singers.

He unleashed his rock spirit with the traditional rock pieces from his album, as well as Im Jae Bum′s For You and a rock rearrangement of Kim Gwang Suk′s Though I Loved You. For his promotional single Mine, which he performed as an encore performance, he appeared in the leather costume he had donned for the music video of the single.

Kim Jae Joong said about the concert, "I was determined to do a lot for the concert. It′s my first solo performance in Korea, and my first exclusive concert ever. I want to thank all those who helped me with the concert, and for the fans who have showed me their support for such a long time."

He was freaking awesome. His voice was amazing and the emotion was totally spot on for the songs. His acapella rendition of part of Confession gave me goose bumps and I love love love his ad libs. Whoever that says he doesn't have a powerful voice, should go and hear him sing live especially during his this mini concert cause his voice just blew you away. He works well with his band and he was totally letting go of himself and just enjoy singing.

Birthday music was being played was really adorable and it's heartwarming everyone sang happy Birthday to him. The fan event was everyone holding a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAEJOONG AH" banner. The 2nd day fan event was the green sea when he sang the 3rd song. The green sea was so beautiful.

For the giyomi session, he only did until number 3 on the 1st day but he did until number 6 on the second day. And his sitcom was sooooo damn funny. Him acting as a kim Jaejoong truly has all of us laughing our ass off. His expression is just so adorable and his comical acting has really improved. The golden bell session of re-enacting the top favorite scene in a drama was also enjoyable as on the second day, instead of a fan, poor Jin Yihan was coerced to go on stage to reenact the scene with him and Jaejoong improvised it to be Saguek style ala Kyungtak-Yonghwi, hahaha.

Didn't expect it to be that long. It was worth bracing the freaking cold weather and the jihachul stopping its service since the fanmeet and concert finished after 11.00 on Saturday. But the walk from Daehwa station to Kintex in the damn cold weather is no joke. Everyone were walking very fast trying to reach the concert hall as soon as possible to escape from the cold weather.

Like what my friend said, he gave us more than his 100%. He gave us his 400%, 100% for the every memorable hour he gave us ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Yes, it was damn amazing. Both days was great in their own way. The sound system was slightly better on the first day but in terms of singing, he was more emotional on the second day to me? But both days were damn great.

Yup, that amzing man gave us 400%. I'm totally in love with the way he sang and his low notes are so sexy. He keep making me fall in love with his voice over and over again. TBH, I teared when he sang One Kiss on the first day.

I hope you'll get the chance to go to one of his Asia tour stop.

omg i was there too on the first day and it was beyond amazing amazing amazing. The whole thing went on for 4 hours which i didnt expect it to be that long, thank God i was able to catch the bus! He really did give his 400% I am so so so glad i went and it was worth every single penny. Four freaking hours, that was even longer than a normal concert

omg Suwon's like on the other end from Ilsan o.O thank God for the 찜질방 then! ikr i thought it'd end after 2 and a half hours at most! Some of the people at my area started leaving before the encore but me and my friend were like let's just finish the concert first and worry abt that later. I swear I'd regret it for the rest of my life if I left before the encore

On the 1st day, we just hop onto a bus and stopped 2 stops down the road to take a cab. Too many fangirls at the bus stops. One taxi ahjusshi was really mad to quote us 100000KRW to go back to Gangnam =.=

I knowww I was soo relieved because people were rushing for the bus too. Didn't know abt the bus before so me and my friend were asking around for people who wanted to take a taxi with us but found none so we were determined to grab a taxi just the 2 of us. Luckily we saw the bus heading to Seoul Station! We got down at Gwanghwamun and took a taxi home phew.
