I think omona babyz ('self included) are such incredible slackers. XD No one posted/bragged about the solo concert selling out in 10min! No one posted about Rain Sound's peak chart position, which was 15 on Gaon according to wiki, which is higher than Crash! I mean, is it not impressive because it's January or because of the new pricing system? (And what is this position exactly, please tell me it is not a real-time chart or whatever....) But they haven't even promoted it either, even if there's a pv.

I try to make posts fairly often (I like shoving nugus down Omona's throats) but I've been so busy T_T I put off posting then forget about it. And ngl...I'm still weary about posting things like chart positions because the people who dislike b.a.p (of which there are a lot for some reason) will be like lol real time charts don't mean anything. But YES they were number #22 or something on music bank (right next to Secret!) without any promotions. I think that's awesome :D

I guess things will pick up during the comeback + concerts!

Hi hi, no.15 was their weekly position on Gaon , their highest ever, beating crash. DAs for almost everyone releasing this year have lowered because of the increase in price(I think more than double, but no actual figures yet) so even if it did a little under Stop it in terms of DAs, I think it should be considered the norm already, since even less people are inclined to download this year. And I think it's also the highest ever on Melon weekly charts, it was 27, before that our highest was with Crash at number 30 for the first week... Pretty good for a song with no promotion/ radio guestings etc....

And to put things into perspective, since prices have more than doubled this year, instead of using the usual $0.003 conversion for DAs to calculate revenue , many have been proposing using $0.006 instead. So if we use the 0.006 conversion this year, than for its first week Rain sound would have made over $51,000. USD already beating the sales revenue for both Crash and Stop it in their first weeks last year( both in the $30,000 range for last year)
So yeah, DAs and sales revenue are abit more complicated this year due to the price increase. Do note though that $0.006 is an estimate, it could actually be more once they get more information. If you want a good comparison, I compare it to Goodbye, also a pre-released track, using the old $0.003 conversion , Goodbye made over $21,000 over a 4 week period, while Rain sound made over $25,000 in just 1 week. Hope this helps :), I have no shame in feeling proud for these boys hehe...

Yep, Goodbye and Hajima are both good for comparison, I think, especially Goodbye for being a pre-release but also because both songs were released earlier in the week (Mon/Tues) like Rain Sound (Tues) and unlike their other singles (Thurs/Fri). I think it will just drop, but it might chart into the third week--Goodbye actually failed to chart (on Gaon) for wk3, so one can't exactly compare the presumed profits that way. XD I think it would be quite good if Rain Sound managed to chart for 4 weeks, though!

It's been a good year for these boys I reckon. They have been one of the best new groups imo and even though I do hope they won't be working themselves into the ground in future I've loved how much they've been active over the year. They should get an award for the number of releases and promotions! I continue to love them more and more and I hope this next year is even greater for them. They're a truly talented group of lads and I'll be looking forward to what new music they'll bring us in 2013 :)
Their videos are all so adorable! I want to squish them all! GROUP HUG BOYS!!!
