I really wish I could appreciate more eclectic styling like this shoot...but all it does is scream "sad clown" to me. I am intrigued by their look tho. can anyone rec other shoots from them?
Yep. Take the Asian chicks, makeup their faces like geishas, keep them half naked, make sure the settings look like where you would find a street walker and just in case anyone misses the fact that this photo editorial emphasizes the stereotype / fantasy of Asian women as sexual toys to be bought and sold, make sure to add some crude hash tags to drive the point home.
Yeah I agree. I didn't understand the hashtag at first but the explanations in the comments were great. Even without the hashtag I wouldn't have liked it. Geishas are already misunderstood and that culture is constantly being appropriated.
I don't understand the world of fashion. Like at all. Because to me these pictures are just ugly. Really, really ugly. She looks horrible and underfed in most of them. And that 4th picture :/
