Okay does anyone else think this drama is L-O-L funny? I'm totally cracking up at some of the acting/situations. My favorite was in ep 6 when Jin Rak's roommate is talking about how when a man and woman start living together they're going to start doing it, and then backpedals for Jin Rak's sake and goes "oh no I'm sure they're just talking about world peace or something!!" LOL
I'm actually having a hard time deciding who I ship her with. At the end of ep 6 when Jin Rak is defending Dok Mi's reluctance to be friends with her ex-bestfriend she was looking at him like "wow you really understand me"... She's more comfortable with Enrique, but... I think that's cause he forces his presence on her. If she spent more time with Jin Rak, I think the same could happen?
Agreed on everything! Especially the part where you say that Jin Rak understands Dok Mi but she feels more comfortable with Enrique because he 'forces his presence on her'!
However I think I pretty much made up my decision that I ship her with Enrique xD
pretty sure most of ya'll are shipping dok mi with enrique because the actor is cute. but how could you not ship her with jin rak? he made that post it picture for 3 years and totally gets her need for space.
enrique's insistence on interacting with dok mi is becoming annoying to me at this point and so is jin rak's idiot roommate.
i really just want more info on dok mi's past. i assume she has a history with depression as previous flashbacks showed her at a therapist office and on the edge of a building.
The only problem with Jin Rak (as far as I'm concerned) is that while he's been very sweet, and does understand her problems. He's never tried to draw her out of her shell, or make real contact with her until now, and that's only because Enrique showed up. Like I said in my comment above though, I'm having a hard time deciding who I want to ship her with!
I want more info on her past too. We know why she isn't friends with Do Hwi any more, and that's how the bullying got started, but was it just the bullying that drove her to the therapist/building edge? or was there more? and even though bullying was bad, I don't think that would have caused her to be a shut in like she is now?
in the beginning i wanted her with JinRak but now im not sure it seems like enrique gets her and wants to her to better herself. While JinRak wants to keep her innocence and for only him to be accepted by her. But JinRak is so sweet to her like the post it every morning for her milk.... ugh cant decide.
This is my first time seeing Park Shin Hye in a drama and I'm liking her. This drama, err sitcom, is lovely, even some of my family like it. I love Dok Mi since she reminds me of myself a bit. I like interacting with people sometimes, but I really enjoy just being home and being in my own little world.
ms. editor's back! yay for hilarious side characters and less of seo young and tae joon.
do hwi surprisingly amuses me. yes she's annoying but there's so much fail written for her character that i don't really mind her presence. and seeing how close they were in the past, i almost thought there'd be a reconciliation in the future, but i guess this isn't school 2013 either.
enrique and dok mi are really cute together, and i like the way they prod at each other's weaknesses
Jinrak's random english in his drunken state is hilar. The thing i love about this drama is the perfect balance of humor and emotional depth. We have soooo many korean romcoms that start off lulzy then just decidedly dives off a cliff towards misery halfway through. Like, everyone's so happy and quirky when they first meet then all of a sudden, somebody has cancer, i mean wtf is that?
This is the only kdrama im watching now. And i totally feel bad about completely missing out on the last cycle of dramas, ( i miss you, school 2013, jeon woo chi)
i LOVED drunk jin rak XD. I was dying at his english!
I totally agree. they have a great balance of funny and really meaty emotional stuff. So even though I'm laughing most of the episode, i feel like we're dealing with real problems/issues.
School 2013 was really good for about 5-6 episodes, then got less good, but not terrible. I really need to see I Miss You and Jeon Woo Chi too!!
Enrique is so cute. The Enrique/Jin Rak bromance was unexpected. Give me more of that. I laughed my ass of when Enrique mention RM/Barca rivalry. And Jin Rak's sudden English is adorable. OH.MY.GAWD. I can't stand Do Hwi. How could she accuse her best friend like that and destroy her life? I can understand it being a misunderstanding, but I felt like she was just waiting for a reason to dump her and be acknowledged by the rest of the girls. What I don't understand is, how the three girls became her minions in the end? Another thing, I was really pissed off at the professor for saying Dok Mi was basically his stalker to save himself. After watching the first 2 episodes of the drama I quite disliked Dok Mi's character. Her stalking annoyed me to bits, mainly because she saw nothing wrong in it. (With all these saesangs I feel like kdrama's aren't helping with the girls stalking guys and guys falling in love with them back. Totally normal, right?) But after getting a bigger insight in her past I quite like her now. And lie the most, I can relate to her in some ways. I'm super curious about the next week's episodes.
Who else laughed at Dong Hoon doing those typical model poses for the photo shoot?? LMAO.
I think Jin Rak was a chaebol too! When he first moved into the apartment (during his flash back) he was dressed TOTALLY different from how does now. Expensive clothes.
Enrique oppa 100%!!!! Though I find Jinrak endearing and so adorable and sweet ;~~; he understands her so well and you can tell how sincere his crush on her is, it crushes my heart when he sees her and can't confess or wants to approach her but just can't. ;/ the notes he leaves on her milk carton were soooo cute! And the face he made when he was dreaming of her omg I love u!! come to me oppa I'll love u!<3
But Enrique on the other hand has been slowly breaking her walls and helping her come out of her shell and hes so cute with her. Plus it's obvious they'll end up together, I think they both need each other in their lives to balance them out.
Anyways im loving this drama and I can't wait for next week!! I hate that annoying bitch that keeps bothering Dokmi, she needs to leave already, she's so ugly too ugh I get offended just seeing her. And Jinrak's roommate annoys the hell out of me also, he's so stupid and nosy, you need to mind ur own damn business.
I'm absolutely in love with Ryu and I don't know why. I am delighted by every bit of screen time he has.
I ship both guys with her, but Enrique just a little bit more. Until Jin Rak gets to really know Dok Mi or at least try to talk to her comfortably instead of treating her like glass that could break with any unwanted move, I don't think he would fit well with her. He's more in love with the idea of her for now, but I think if he saw her as who she really is he would still like her and could be a good fit for her.
Enrique trying to get her to open up is good, but I still think he can push it too far sometimes. People have to be willing to do things and change for things like what he's doing to work well. I think he needs to realize that dragging Dok Mi out into the world isn't going to change like he wants unless she can want it too. But that's probably just me being a little too realistic for a kdrama.
i can't decide because i love both men and they both awesome<3 well if she does end with Enrique, so i just have Jin Rak for myself :P or Enriue&Jin Rak would be epic ship as well<3 i love their moment together :P
i hate the childhood friend and she don't deserve any kind of forgiveness from Dok Mi. she totally ruin her life and does not seem to regret any of her action whatsoever and still try to force her way into Dok Mi life again just for her own selfish reason. i hope she would at lest know what she did is wrong later and get far away from Dok Mi life..
I never expected to start watching this drama, not for any particular reason really but just never considered it when posts came out about it coming up. And then I randomly decided to check out when the first couple of episodes were subbed on dramacrazy and BANG I was hooked lol. It's so loveable. I'm so happy to find something that is so cute and bright but still with enough solid story behind the characters to keep me interested for more than just the laughs. I'm not even at the stage of shipping Dok Mi with anyone yet, I'm just loving watching the boys around her being all adorable and I want to squish them all hehehe. Though that girl from school days seriously gets my back up, she needs to get a grip and realise what she did to someone who was once her friend grrrrrr.
I'm really enjoying this drama. It seems quirky and different from most romantic comedy dramas. The only characters that is typical/boring is the evil girl that is trying to get with Jin Rak. Enrique, the actor is not my type but I enjoy the character and how physical he is with the humor. He is always doing something wacky with this body.

The editor is nuts, I love her.
Jin Rak's English explosion and bromance wit Enrique was adorable.
YSY is so cute
The Hwi girl is so self involved, she pushed her friend to the point of suicide and is acting like a spoilt idiot again.

also, enrique is a puppy trapped in a man's body and no one can convince me otherwise.
