SPEED to donate album profits in memory of the ’5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement’

It has been revealed that SPEED will be donating their album profits in memory of the ‘5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement‘ portrayed in their latest MVs.

Core Contents Media stated on the 16th, “Whatever the amount of SPEED’s debut album profits end up being, it will be donated to the organization affiliated with the 5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement. This is a decision made by both the members and the agency on the 14th. SPEED has already received over 10,000 pre-orders for their album.”

SPEED’s “Sad Promise“ and “It’s Over“ MVs are currently receiving a lot of attention for touching upon this moment in Korean history that took place in 1980.

In other news, SPEED will perform their debut stage starting on ‘M! Countdown! on the 17th.

Wow that's great but umm srsly?! That is some srs profits to be had and each of you are in the hole from being trained in the first place.
