Big Bang to focus on solo activities after their world tour ends

After Big Bang finishes their world tour, the members will be shifting their focus to promoting solo activities.

The five members will be finishing up their world tour in Seoul from the 25th to the 27th. After the finale, the members will be promoting under their own individual names and not under the name of Big Bang.

G-Dragon will be going on a solo world tour, and will even be having a 3-dome tour in Japan for the first time as a Korean solo artist. He is also planning to release a new song within the first half of the year.
T.O.P has been filming for his movie ‘Alumni‘, and will continue to work on the movie for a bit more. He previously stated, “It’s currently 90% finished.” Fans are also looking forward to see him act again in dramas as well this year.

Taeyang and Daesung are currently working on their own solo albums. Daesung’s Japanese solo album, ‘D’scover‘, is set for release at the end of February, and he is planning his solo concert as well.

Seungri has also been cast in a drama on NipponTV. Even though he has constantly been promoting in Japan, this year Seungri is planning to promote in Korea as well.

Not happy though about the lack of deets on Seungri. I want a JPN solo album that he composes and writes and stuff. I am afraid for YB's solo because Solar was perfect save for You're My and if it's anything like his current style I'm not going to like it much :/ Want a GTOP album and more Dae!variety pls

I want SeungRi to just focus on Japan 'cause if he works hard there I feel like he can create a long lasting place for himself in Japanese showbiz. Plus maybe Korea will start liking and respecting him more if he becomes popular in Japan?

And I'm truly looking forward to Taeyang's next album as based on his covers and music he has been listening as well as people he has worked with, it's gonna be something Frank Ocean and Miguel influenced stuff.

I'm excited about all the solo stuff (hopefully there's a chance of GD&TOP Vol 2, especially since TOP doesn't like promoting solo). *Does TOP like to act btw? I haven't seen him act, so I was wondering if it was something he wants to do or something YG persisted on. Boy is so funny & charismatic in variety - I wish him and all the boys together could do variety more often.

I'm so happy Dae finally has his moment to really shine as an artist - I hope Japan/everybody shows his album love so he's reassured he has amazing talent.

Seungri looks like he enjoys his solo time in Japan so hopefully he'll strengthen his fanbase there.

Tae seems to have solid comebacks - I enjoyed both HOT & SOLAR comebacks (especially HOT) so I'm looking forward to see how he's matured musically and as a dancer.... and perhaps for the possible lol's xD. I enjoy his interviews too.

I feel like TOP being in a drama is just a hope for YG - TOP's wanted to release a solo album for awhile now but YG insists on acting -_- TOP is a rapper, dammit.

Am I the only one who would prefer a full-length studio album from Big Bang more than the solo activities? Their last studio album was in 2008 for God's sake.
