Date: 2013-01-14 08:12 pm (UTC)For Zico especially, I think that that's part of his deal, especially when it comes to how completely insane some of his hair/wardrobe decisions have been. He's tall, good looking, and from a good family. Going out of his way to be offputting is sort of his attempt to remove himself from that culture so that he can be more "authentic" in his rap/artistic endeavors.
(Obviously I could be talking completely out of my ass, but you see the same thing all the time in the US, especially among nerds and creative types.)
Junhyung from Beast also definitely falls into this heading. I have never seen that boy stand up straight, and it drives me crazy.
