I heard that you have written songs for JYJ Kim Jaejoong. How did it happen?

I was told that it would be Jaejoong-ssi’s 1st solo album. He wanted an image transformation. Maybe because he has been active in the music industry for a long time, he has many ambitions for his music. He has musicality. He came and asked me for a song, so I gave him one. After that, he called me and asked for one more song. So I gave him another one. While working on songs for Jaejoong-ssi, I didn’t cater the songs for the singer and instead [freely] made them in the style I wanted. However, he liked them and really tried his best, which made my affection for him grow. He was satisfied with the music and made me satisfied too, which was rewarding for me. It was a new experience. I’m very glad that someone with an idol-origin like Jaejoong-ssi can have such passion for music. Through this work, I feel even more passionate and also got many new ideas. Personally, I’m very thankful.

Why Does Jung Tae Se Want To Go To Kim Jaejoong’s Concert?

“I want to go to JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s concert.”

North Korea’s top striker Jung Tae Se (29), who has now donned the Suwon Bluewings uniform, attended a press conference on the 10th to commemorate his new team membership and when asked what he would like to do in Korea other than play soccer, he replied that he wanted to attend ‘Hallyu Star’ Kim Jaejoong’s concert.

When Jung Tae Se played in Japan, he showed talent in a variety of things aside from soccer. He used his witty charm to hold a radio show and was even a DJ. He also showcased his talents in a Korean variety show last year. Because of this, many are curious to see what Jung Tae Se will do other than play soccer now that he will be in Suwon.

But the reply reporters received was that he wanted to attend a concert. He talked about Kim Jaejoong’s concert as Jung Tae Se is close friends with the members of JYJ, Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun.

Jung Tae Se and JYJ’s friendship began in June of 2011. The soccer player took park in Park Ji Sung’s charity soccer match, the Asian Dream Cup, in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. JYJ held a performance during the charity soccer match and through the event, the four people became friends.

After the match was over, Kim Jaejoong posted a photo of himself with Jung Tae Se with the caption, “Tae Se, I hope to see you again soon.” As Jung Tae Se will now be living in Korea, he expressed his wish to attend his friend’s concert and see him again.

However, it doesn’t seem as though Jung Tae Se’s wishes will come true. The Suwon team won’t be returning to Korea till the 28th after they go through their first round of training in Guam, but Kim Jaejoong’s concert will be held right before their return on the 26th and 27th.

The two articles were really cool. I really love it that Jaejoong and Junsu and Yoochun are slowly getting the respect of their seniors who have nothing to do with the idol world. The more relevant they become to that crowd, the more star power they have. As idols, they already conquered. Now I want to see how the conquer as actors, artists/musicians, composers, world stars. It's sad that DBSK is no longer 5, but maybe this split was meant to happen. Now fans can truly see all 5 grow and shine rather than being forced by SM to promote mediocrity until they get shelved, or sent to the army.

As for the last video...while pleasing to my fan-eye, I agree it is creepy. XD

ia. even though it makes me sad that DBSK is no longer 5, I really love that JYJ are able to work freely. I feel like they're producing MUCH better and more interesting work than they would have under SM. It allowed HoMin to make changes to their style/sound as well.

Iawtc, especially about the respect and star power part. though I miss them as 5, when I look back at old pictures or videos, I don't feel like they could have grown this much and accomplished the things they've done in the last few years if the split had never happened.

Yeah honestly I think JYJ, or at least one of them would've gotten burned out and there would be depression rumors, like with Onew, or they would've just stopped caring. Kind of like Jin with Kattun. It's really sad to see. :/

So while it took me a while to come to this, I'm glad they split. I just hope the 5 resolve it between themselves. (and don't take 10 years to do it)

I love that the translation said "idol-origin" it shows that Kim Bada doesn't really think of Jaejoong as an idol, but just as someone who started there.

I agree and you put this perfectly. Though I know Jaejoong said something along the lines of not minding being seen as an idol, I like how they're gaining respect by showing they're capable of growing and doing things beyond what idols are thought to be capable of achieving. Like what you said, being an idol is where he started, but it isn't what defines him, or maybe they're changing the definition/image of idols...

haha, not minding being seen as an idol and liking being called an idol are almost similar right? >____< lol, my fail. but ia, i feel like in the past when they were still younger and in their early dbsk days, they wanted to change the image of what an idol is. now, that may not have changed so much, but i feel like they've realized even more (at least jaejoong...and changmin) that they want to be an idol. i think he enjoys it because he likes performing for an audience.
