I haven't really liked their stuff since 2011. This is boring and the head camera thing is jarring. Kim Sohyun is adorable though. And the old one looks less creepy.
idk how to properly describe it but i hate when the camera follows the person's face so closely that it looks like their face isn't moving even though their body is. it drives me crazy.
I find it entertaining that apparently only Jeongmin, Kwangmin and Donghyun were appropriate for the drama section. XD Also, Jeongmin makes the best asshole not-really-a-boyfriend. Fearless Leader was also a pretty fabulous creeper!oppa (OF COURSE HE SCARES THEM OFF, THEY KNOW HE COULD BEAT THEIR ASSES).
And while I know the weird camerawork makes other people ill, but I like it. I liked it in JJ Project's "Bounce", too.
A Guide to Telling Youngmin and Kwangmin Apart
This may not always been foolproof, but I've definitely noticed it on most things. Youngmin is Dexter, his hair is almost always parted over his right eye. Kwangmin is Sinister, his hair is almost always on the left. Kwangmin also has softer facial features, his jaw is a little narrower and he also often has darker hair than Youngmin.
The easiest way for me to tell them apart is the jaws and the noses. Like you said, Kwangmin's jaw is narrower. He has more of a V-line whereas Youngmin's jaw is more square/angular. With their noses, Kwangmin's is higher/projects a bit more and Youngmin's is flatter/a touch wider. Oh, and Kwangmin's eyes are slightly larger and rounder imo.
"Top producer, SWEETUNE, also well known as KARA and Infinite's hit song maker, has once again put their efforts into the Boys' project. The title song "I Yah" is a dance track which features the funky sound of guitar riffs on top the members' powerful singing and rapping skills.
Letting go of their pretty boy image, BOYFRIEND revealed their masculine side from their previous work "Janus", and will continue on the powerful and 'homme fatale' concept through this album. The boys are going to give the impression of powerful and charismatic men by wearing slim black suits and utilizing metallic accessories with smoky make-up."
From the video and the lyrics, this seems like another "overprotective guys are so dreamy" kind of thing, but the description is calling them homme-fatales, indicating that they are going to destroy the woman eventually. Is she the same actress from their Janus MV?
ok no wonder their stuff sounds really similar. i feel like their choreo gives off a similar feel in the way they arrange people too? i just started listening to boyfriend because of janus a few days ago and was really strongly reminded of infinite, haha, didn't know they shared the same composer~
I need another boy group to work with Sweetune so I can stan them also. Infinite and Boyfriend (maybe 2pm at some point in time...and Nu'est, and BtoB, and Teen top after they go through puberty, and 100%...) are the only boy groups I consider myself close to stanning.
I like the song a lot. Like most of Sweetune's tracks, it'll grow on me more through time. I like the style, it isn't as heavy as Janus but not as bright as their previous work.
I fucking LOVE this song and how hard it's channeling the 80s, but I'm not feeling the MV. The ~storyline~ made little to no sense and the styling in the choreo parts was on point, so they should have just had the entire MV be SM-style, i.e. looking hot and dancing well in a cool room.
ita about Hyunseong. That one close-up near the end of the MV where they pull away from him and he's staring down the barrel of the camera? Unfffffffffffffff~
Looks like JYP had buyer's remorse and sold that awful camera to Starship. XD Damn at least JJ project used it in 90% of their video, so you could get used to the awful, but Boyfriend kept throwing it in randomly. That made it much much worse. :/
Their looks were good and the song is alright, but after Janus is was a bit disappointing. Also a song named Iyah can only be compared to the epic original Iyah, and I think it makes me look at Boyfriend's song more critically. :P Sorry boys, but hey the year has just begun!
I mean, seriously. What were they thinking making their title song have the exact same name as one of H.O.T's most famous songs?! It's like having a song also titled Mirotic, something already inextricably linked to another group.
I don't understand the big deal of Inspirits saying Boyfriend copied Infinite's concept or whatev. I'm a huge fan of Eenpiniteu, but it's nothing to be angry about, srsly.
