The acting was okay, but the plot is so boring. Also, the hotel manager was annoying and he had the most lines too! The blatant advertising of the phone and promoting of Jaejoong were off putting. But I get to see Jaejoong tied up and sweating and wet, so that made it almost worth the watch.

Am i the only one who stared really hard at the peeing scene? Well for obvious reasons >//< but also i read some really bad things about his knee injury leading to him having a big scar and not showing his legs. At this scene i was like OMG jj legs! but couldn't see anything.

I'm not sure which part of the ending you aren't getting. The very end or starting from where you find out that she actually IS the Jackal or before that?

I wanted more from the end but was left with the impression that they were just making use of Choi Hyun hiring her as an excuse to keep up with each other and bickering/flirting.

Yeah the very end. It just doesn't make sense to me (and everybody I've talked to)! Was he in on it? Did he somehow contact her afterwards for a job?
I suppose in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter but since it's the end it bothers me.

It was messy, very messy
I was pleasantly surprised by JJ though, he's improved a lot and Song Ji-Hyo was great
But The movie it self was average imo and it really looked low budget.
When I first heard about it I was expecting something bigger idk.
If it wasn't for JJ I wouldn't have watch it.

Now on the ending I'm still confused as to how he get her phone number and why he called her so I'm gonna read other's comment

but love jaejoong comical acting. he truly destroyed his image with this movie. now i want to watch his act as a psychopath.

My take while I watched this movie without sub and reading a few spoilers.


There is Jackal, and a fake Jackal ( the dude ).

The businessman wanted his wife dead. While Choi Hyun's x wants him dead, or be taught a lesson? Jackal uses this opportunity to get rid of all 3, wife, Choi Hyun and fake Jackal. While she got the pic of the wife, she gave Choi Hyun pics to the fake Jackal. Somewhere in the mix, she decided to kill fake Jackal and wife and left Choi Hyun alive after she realized where he came from, or that he also comes from a harsh background?

This movie story isn't bad, it's messy in editing though. Well, it is a small budget movie. The advertisement for this movie is bad, it said romantic comedy, when this should be dark comedy. And the title shouldn't be Jackal, it should be more Hotel Paradise. If I were to edit this movie, it would be story of the people, events happening in that hotel in that one day. And just so happen an abduction situation going on.

The acting was fine, JJ saved this movie, idk if that is biasness speaking or not. But he made it more enjoyable to watch when he was tied up. Not in a fangirly way. He was a bit off and awkward at the beginning, I realized that if you don't tied him up, he fidgets a lot with his shoulders when he talks. It got better when he's tied up and restrain him. That's something that he has to work on more. He got his tone down and improve from PTB. Movements needs work.

This role don't fit Jihyo. She is the weakest one in the movie. And I love her, but she was really off as Jackal. She should never go to comedy, her timing is so off. Her best scenes are the serious one.

And I realized that in order to have your presence in the presence of JJ (because his presence is too damn strong that it kills other people presence off, often. Unless it's a veteran that knows how to play around it), you either have to hug him or kiss him. The sasaeng and Angela ( wife ) has tremendous chemistry with JJ after they hug or kiss him. Jihyo comes back alive after she gave him that kiss at the rooftop.


Lastly, this movie is too damn long, and has too many unnecessary scenes, so little of Choi Hyun and Jackal. Yet advertisement is all about them two.


/end rant.

With all that, I actually watched it 3 times, only Choi Hyun tied up parts... LOL. Now I'm just going to watch it again, or let his part be on speaker so I can listen to his voice. /crazy fan.
