Is this drama worth watching?
My sister is watching it and says it's good and I should watch it too. But she also said Dream High is good so I can't take her word for much.

I wanna complain about What's Up(the drama with Daesung). I know it's like a year old, but I'm just now watching it. I thought it started out good then it went downhill. >o I'm just going to watch because I like the characters(edgy Doo Ri and funny Byung Gun). Please tell me it at least gets better ;o;

I'm going to start Cheongdamdong Alice soon, anyone see that?

omg i totally agree, i can't figure out why but this episode totally turned me off! each scene went on too long and i hate ~edgy tilted camerawork.

I want to watch it because I hear so much about Namsoon/Heungsoo storyline (of awkward friendship/hate nature according to the screenwriter...) but the rest of the plot seems so boring.

Oh well. I'll just wait for it to be over and someone edit all their scenes into one clip or something.

until this episode i could have comfortably said that the other aspects of the story really round out the drama, and the way the other characters interact with the boys while they are hiding past/present goings on is careful and intriguing

but this ep was filler at its finest. can't recall if this drama got an extension but it sure feels like it did just before they wrote this ep

The only thing running through my mind when I watched the Namsoon/Heungsoo confrontation scene is "YES NOW YOU CAN KISS". Melting into a poodle of feels at the sight of Heungsoo tucking Namsoon in too (I mean, the homoerotic subtext, come on)

As we get more and more episodes of School 2013, I cannot contain my feels for Kang Se Chan Teacher <3 Everytime he says "follow me" to his students, I'll automatically volunteer to follow him in front of my laptop, lol.

Teacher Kang is def growing on me. he's pretty much the only character where i see actual character growth right now. we saw it with Hakyung for a moment but now she's back to being a minor character. i love the way Kang looks in slim-fitted clothes though... it's a problem for me lolol

I think the problem with this episode is that nothing really new happened. We saw Nam Soon sacrifice himself for Heungsoo again, Teacher Kang try and help Teacher Jung keep her job/teach her own style, Jungho and his lackey fought some more, sooo we spent an hour rewatching things we already knew. Unless they move a long Nam Soon and Heungsoo's bromance, this show is going to get boring really fast.

I should have waited till I watched ep 10 to vote in the poll! I voted Nam Soon/Hakyung, but after that ep I think the boys are in love with each other XD.

When Heungsoo started crying and asked Namsoon if he didn't miss him sgdjgjsgakal sobs ;___; ofc I understood why Heungsoo was mad at Namsoon all this time (cause of the leg) but it turns out hes also hurt that the only person he had to rely on back then left him ;( omg poor baby!! I think if namsoon hadn't left him back then heungsoon would've forgiven him but namsoon was so scared of rejection, obviously who wouldn't be.

this is just so tragic for both of them and I thought they would hug right there and then but I guess their angsty relationship will continue for now. Even though I really want to see them being in that cute dongseng-hyung relationship we got glimpses of. ):

In other news, Jung teacher can really annoy the fuck out of me sometimes, I get where you're coming from but these aren't your damn kids stop getting so invested in some of them and focus on them as a whole and your teaching more jfc. Also why does she blink so much? For every word she says, she blinks. Its so annoying now that I've noticed it

i agree with the paragraphs on the boys. it's sad that Heungsoo needed the companionship just as much as Namsoon did, but Namsoon thought what he did was unforgivable. they just didn't realize that they only had each other!

and lol i tried to pay attention to the blinking but i never stay focused on Teacher Jung! i always get distracted by the fact that Teacher Kang is a disaster with props. he can't even figure out where to put his hand when he is leaning on something. it's so lolzy! Song Joong Ki, now there is someone who is AMAZING with props. if you asked him to milk a cow then churn butter all in one scene he could do it flawlessly.

i'm definitely not emotionally connecting with this show right now :/ the background music at the end of the episode (started during the crying scene) was the tackiest shit ever. ep 11 better bring it because i'm seriously close to just reading recaps of this show.

as mentioned previously, this episode was an extended remix of everything we've seen before. here are things we didn't see enough of: Minki, Kangjoo, all the characters actually having a shared story arc instead of two distinct storylines that literally never crossed paths (barring like three minutes of Teacher Kang with the boys, and a millisecond of the pool hall brawl)

idk what to make of the preview for ep 11. obviously i'm curious as to why the f Teacher Kang has a brick in his hand. i find that lolzy even if it won't be. seems like Minki's brother might come out of his room? i'm done with this "will he/won't he quit school" arc with Namsoon, Heungsoo, and the bullies. and you can't just throw this literature contest storyline in as a way to get Kangjoo, Hakyung, and Minki in the script. the teachers have worked side by side for so long i cannot understand why they have yet to develop a shared lesson plan and strategy when they have clearly realzed that there are at least some benefits to the other person's teaching style.

As much as I love love love the Heungsoon bromance, it is really time for them to take a back seat and let the rest of the cast shine for the next six episodes. I understand why the screenwriter may be skewed towards them since the storyline seems to bring in the ratings and the discussion, but if they want this to be an actual GOOD drama that people will want to look back and watch, they have to spread some of the story out also.

Heungsoon fantastic brotp aside, I really enjoyed the Jihoon/Jung Ho storyline, and look forward to seeing Minki challenge his mother.

i agree. if they don't start giving the other characters major screen time and fully thought-out storylines, i'm not sure i'll be able to recommend this to anyone in the future

I agree with a lot of you. The story is starting to slow down, but I think this episode was a filler of sorts. Fortunately, we got glimpses into other stories that will hopefully pop up.

Still, it's hard to fast forward thru these two especially when they do this!
