2NE1 speaks up truthfully about this whole issue of ‘war of girl-groups’ and also what they think of the other girl groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute.
They said in a recent interview, “We feel that the other groups have their own charms and specialties and we also get to learn from them in always working so hard. Instead of calling it ‘war of girl-groups’, it is more like all of us as females showing the ‘woman power’.”
They continued, “It would be good that 2NE1, So Nyeo Shi Dae, 4Minute will be able to capture fans’ heart through our cool performances on stage. It is because we are not standing in different places, but we are altogether in one place.”
“Our weakness is our group dancing. We are weak as a group dancing together after we have been into our individual training lifestyle for long. So Nyeo Shi Dae on the other hand are really good at group dancing and we are envious of that. There are many times when we are surprised at how synchronised their angles and lines are.”
They continued, “And for 4Minute, our thoughts are ‘they are really hardworking’ and ‘they put in much effort’. They encourage/stimulate us on.”
Meanwhile, the girls are promoting their title song off their 1st mini-album ‘I Don’t Care’ gaining much popularity together with other girl-groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute who are also promoting their songs.

Date: 2009-07-15 07:36 am (UTC)and i admire their humility. they've been around for quite a while, they've been getting lots of good reviews, they're songs are so hot, their mini album's awesome, and their performances are always improving but the girls remained humble.
they know their weaknesses but they don't go around telling people their strengths (i.e. "my sunglasses is my charisma"..."my charisma is my leggings with holes in them, it's meaningful) I've never even heard them say what awards they want to get! LOL
if 4minute wasn't cocky and hyuna doesn't sound like a goat, i would probably like the group. but yeah, 2ne1 is just the way to go. 2ne1 rocks!

And I have to agree up there, that 2NE1 and SNSD should never be compared. They talked more sincerely about SNSD than they did on 4Minute. At least we know that 2NE1 actually looks up to SNSD as to how they work as a group.
4Minute is just how long their 'popularity' should have lasted. Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame, girls. I really don't like this group after the much 'humility' they've shown.
