Primary is taking on a new challenge this year. He transformed into the producer of the debut album of the hiphop unit Infinite H, formed by the members Hoya and Dongwoo from the idol group Infinite. “It seems that people are curious about it. They ask ‘Why did Primary work with idols?’. I think that hiphop manias are strongly against it. But I’m trying not to pay attention to this kind of point of view. We're all making music, who cares about the genre and the singer.”

But then again since the lyrics are written by competent people, if infinite H pulls it off well it may not be so bad.

I told myself I wouldn't have any high expectations and just enjoy the music when it comes out. Plus it's already been revealed that Primary worked on 4 songs with them so I thought it can't possibly go wrong. Now that the tracklist is out though, that notion has seriously gone down the drain.

LOL I see you Infinite H confirming one of the main stereotypes of idol rappers by not writing anything at all on your album. I feel bad for those idol rappers who do though 'cause "rappers" like this make general public and hip hop crowd think that all idols do it like this. Anyhow, not writing your own raps on your hip hop album is simply embarrassing and they should have just released normal pop album if they weren't going to write anything by themselves.

Also let's be real the truthful answer for a question why Primary worked with these idols is $MONEY$

Well, they wouldn't have released their own mini if they were just gonna do normal pop cause that's what they're already doing as Infinite. From the start, it's the genre the two have wanted to go and pursue so there. Though slightly disappointed that they didn't write anything on here cause they usually do.

There are ghostwriters in hip hop, not all rappers pen their own lyrics. I was never expecting them to pen anything, because I still look at it as an idol group, its a subunit of an idol group in kpop. Idk why they should be expected to write their own material just because its a hip hop concept they're working with. Idols sing and dance what theyre given, a majority of the time. It would be nice to see, but I don't see why they should be expected to do more than necessary. Its not as if theyre an underground duo with an entirely ghost written album, theyre idols.

True true. Personally, I guess the reason why I was slightly disappointed for a few (moments, minutes?) was cause I know they write their own things. So was expecting maybe a song or 2.

Guess I've just been used with my other fandoms writing their own stuff during solo promos.

hm i was hoping they'd write their own lyrics, but idrc that much. yes @ everyone they're collaborating with though. i was going to smh at primary allowing the inclusion of leggo in fly high but then i remembered that one song on his lp that dok2 ruined so it could be worse i guess.
