KARA 'Orion' PV (short ver.) + Tokyo Dome concert sold out

KARA‘s first solo concert in Tokyo Dome entitled, ‘KARASIA 2013 Happy New Year in Tokyo Dome‘, was revealed to have sold out within five minutes of going on sale!

DSP Media confirmed, “Ticket sale for KARA’s Tokyo Dome concert began on the 8th and sold out in 5 minutes. 45,000 tickets were all sold out”, showing the magnitude of KARA’s popularity. The agency continued, “KARA’s Tokyo Dome concert was planned as a way to start the new year with fans. KARA will perform their hit songs as well as show never before seen sides to them through their performances.”

As reported earlier, KARA will become the first Korean female artists to perform a solo concert at the exclusive Tokyo Dome. The ”KARASIA 2013 Happy New Year in Tokyo Dome” will be held on January 6th.

In other news, KARA is currently promoting their ‘KARA Solo Collection‘ album.

yeah, I wasn't expecting the sales to be great for this album, but they went from over 270,000 first week sales with supergirl to over 70,000 first week sales for girls forever :( hopefully the next album will do better :)

With the increasing Nationalism I'm not sure the sales will go back to what they were. But DSP do need to get the finger out of their ass and actually give them more good songs in Japan, Mister made them famous but fierce pop Kara just isn't around.

Yes, BoA never did. Tokyo Dome is still prestige place to perform though many said it has lose its credibility over the years. Like the super successful Arashi only able to perform there in 2007 (they debuted in 1999) -- but now, even 3 days concert at the super big Kokuritsu is not enough for their fans. :3
