JYP president, “Sunye’s happiness comes first”

President Jung Wook of JYP Entertainment shared his feelings on Wonder Girls member Sunye‘s wedding

In a phone conversation with NewsEN on November 28th, President Jung Wook relayed, “Sunye is someone who we have known since her elementary school days. That someone who is like family, a daughter, is getting married really tugs at the heart.”

The president continued, “Sunye is a really responsible and thoughtful person. I think that if it’s Sunye’s choice, we have to fully acknowledge it.”

He laughed lightheartedly as he added, “There are some people who are worried whether Sunye’s wedding will be a loss to the company. Shouldn’t Sunye’s happiness come first? The Wonder Girls members are not talking about the gain or the loss from the wedding either. It’s really sweet. They are all like family, congratulating Sunye on her wedding.”

Wonder Girls management company JYP Entertainment officially announced on November 27th that Sunye will be getting married this coming January.

After the official announcement, Sunye posted on her fan cafe, “January 26th of 2013 has become a very important day in my life. I will be getting married, which is a promise of two people to share the rest of their lives together. There might be some of you who think that it’s too soon but I hope you trust my decision and bless us.”

I really can't imagine a Sunye that isn't singing and performing. She just lights up on stage, it gives her so much life.

I really want Sunye to stay in WG if for anything just to make a statement. A married women can work and be sexy on stage while being a good wife. Idols should be able to live their lives happily without crazy "fans" stopping them. :/ *more fangirl feels*
