MAMA awards are on the 30th November and since they are already on their way to Singapore and have a press conference for their world tour on the same day (plus the actual concert on December 1st), I am 100% positive they won't show. I am just so angry with YG. I can take a little bit of trolling, but this is just downright bad management. YG doesn't have that many idols active, is it that hard to actually manage them?
Thank god the world tour in Singapore is the last stop so far, so I am aiming again for a new comeback in December. T_T
Ugh this is bullshit. I consider YG fans to be the most tolerant fandom when it comes to company trolling, but this is definitely the straw that breaks the camel's back. I cannot believe he wasted this whole year with a ridiculous and ill-thought out tour that benefited no one. Praying that the girls manage to show up to at least ONE year end show, surely YG can manage at least that, the arrogant bastard. I know I keep harping on about 2NE1 and their lack of promotion, but this is like American pop, where you can disappear indefinitely but still make a successful comeback due to relevance. This is fucking kpop, where the industry and public will forget you if you do not come back at least twice a year.
And if YG has the balls to add more dates to this nonsensical tour, I....will send him hate mail? Damn why are international fans so bloody powerless ;A;
I don't know, lately 2NE1 has just been very forgettable for me. They were my first and only kpop biases when I first started with kpop and it is NE1 TV that actually made me love them. But lately I feel like they (and YG for that matter) are just thinking that they can get away with this because they have such a dedicated fan base that will buy everything from "Daddy YG and his cute trolling."
At this point they are seriously at the bottom of my list. IATB is their last relevant release which was 18 months ago, like the fuck? I remember how Teddy said in June/July that they had already finished 7 songs for the album, so how come it is not out yet?

ok yes, I totally agree with everything you just said. I had an actual 'what the fuck' moment when Teddy had said they'd already recorded several songs for the album, but when it came to the deadline YG was all "They're still ~working hard in the recording studio". FML 2NE1 are never coming back. Going to go and reminisce in the beauty of their first mini. Most precious they were able to release tbh
