Animal is my fave, it's a great album. Not surprised that some people hate this considering there were folks that hated the first album too. IDGI tbh.

So far T.O.P. and Beep Beep are my faves off this album, and once I learn the lyrics Not Alone is gonna be fun to sing along to.

I prefer the first Japanese album. Some of the songs are a little bit off for me. I like Stay Girls btw.
And I'm still wondering why SNSD never used Japanese language for their song titles?

I feel in Japan they're going for a more West fusion style, a more European sound, English titles, and tons of english words littered in the songs, even if they sound alittle odd. Like Car chase and Satellite boom boom.

I don't see how some fans can say this is terrible, this is as solid a Girl Group album can get. It's already grown on me, I love T.O.P, Reflection and I'm a diamond. Maybe their vocals aren't the best here and the some beats abit simple and flat but overall I love it. I guess I could have done with maybe one more proper poppy song but that's about it.

the album is kind of forgettable but i love it. stay girls is my fave so far. either it's getting harder for me to discern their voices, or hyo/soo/yoona don't have many parts

Ikr other than Taeng I honestly couldn't tell apart most of them. Sooyoung must have got alot of the parts due to her Japanese skills but I doubt Hyo, yuri and Yoona got much.

The sampler mashup teased me and i am really liking this sound. Love "beep beep" but I can see how it doesn't mesh with the tone of the album.

What is the reason for such different production direction/concepts for Korea vs Japan? Genuine question. All their Japanese music surely gets back to Korean netizens. I don't follow J-pop so I don't know if this sound is more in line with that scene? Kpop isn't exactly the polar opposite...

I think it's simply because they actually have to make more of an effort in Japan, and coupled with their more 'mature' image that's why they have this sort of sound. Honestly unless it's some squeaky idol group, all Asian pop is starting to blend together these days because it's much more globalized than it was before, and big-names have been sharing producers.

A solid follow-up to their 1st Japanese album. Their debut had a little more variety I think, the songs on this new album tend to become repetitive the more I listen to them. I love Reflection but some of the other (non-single) tracks could be a little catchier and more memorable. And one thing I'm really missing is a strong mid-tempo ballad like Let It Rain, Stay Girls doesn't quite do it for me.

This is such a solid album, I love it. My faves are Reflection, Animal, and I'm a Diamond. Girls & Peace is fun too. idk why but I really like the outro in Reflection where each girls takes turn singing "I see my reflection~" lol

I'm still not used to the Japanese lyrics of Boomerang, but I love how this final version sounds so good with headphones on.

Some of the tracks aren't as catchy as some of the ones from their first album, but it's not a huge downgrade either. I really life Animal, Reflection, TOP, and Stay Girls. A big improvement from the singles they released this year.
