The one recycling songs is YG, JPY gave this song many years ago for Boom solo debut but YG never used it officially, he decided to take it out for a spin with LeeHi.
this style of music is really not right for her voice... I mean, she still has the voice of a kid, as strong as it is, but it's really not working. definitely 1,2,3,4 is her style ~ more fun and has more variety. blah.
Why is everyone bashing JYP? The song was sold to YG a long time ago so obviously they have the right to give it to whoever they want? Bom never even released an official version of the song. It's like how "I need a girl" was originally supposed to be for Seven, but they gave it to Youngbae instead. JYP never even said he made a song for Ha Yi, YG was the one who said everything so why the hate?
That earlier statement was so misleading tbh. And in that post, there were quite a number of comments hatin' on JYP too, in the context that he hadn't written any songs for his own soloists and had gone off to write one for Lee HIi.
Dull song that doesn't really showcase her vocals in a good way. Really stupid decision to even release it. Stick to that Duffy style soul or Killing Me Softly type of soul songs with Lee Hi, YG!
Ugh YG what the actual fuck is wrong with you? Releasing a kickass debut song like 1,2,3,4 and then following up with a boring ass ballad that doesn't even suit Hayi's voice? Real smart >_>
Hmmm.... sad that YG thought releasing this was a good idea. I'm not THAT disappointed but that's kinda cheap coming from him to "hype" this song written by JYP when it has been already sung by Bom years ago (haven't they also said JYP wrote it FOR Bom??)...
Wow does anyone here like this song? I feel all lonesome cos I actually do like it. I think her voice sounds gorgeous. Yes I reckon she should stick to plenty of tracks like 1 2 3 4 because it works so well for her but I enjoy a change and I think this song is really lovely and I can imagine it being one I would often enjoy listening to. The girl has a versatile voice that can work a lot of different styles.
