‘The Romantic’, which featured non-celebrity bachelors and bachelorettes previously, has decided to air a spin-off, ‘The Romantic & Idol‘, for its third season. The eight idols to feature on the show-2PM‘s Jun.K, 4minute‘s Jihyun, MBLAQ‘s Mir, ZE:A‘s Hyungsik, JJ Project‘s JB, Rainbow‘s Seung Ah, FIESTAR‘s Jei, and AOA‘s Hyejeong - wrapped up filming in October on Jeju Island.

tvN‘s ‘The Romantic & Idol‘ has decided to ban manager access.

Representatives of the upcoming reality show stated, “Because it’s a ‘real date story’ program and we need to record idols on dates, we’ve made it so their managers and coordinators cannot interfere. [We're letting] the idols express their true feelings [without being concerned] because it’s not like variety programs; it’s a reality program.”

i actually reaaallly like this show! i cant wait to find out who changed and stayed, and see what happens on jeju.
JB and seungah kind of work really well together, even if hes so young. she seems chill, and i think he likes her. i want to see more of them.
and LOL at all of them falling all over jihyun. i hope hyungshik doesnt get his feelings hurt, he's too sweet.

i fucking loved it, seungah is so friendly and cool, you can see she was trying to make the girls feel contoable, jihyun was pretty cool as well, mir reiamined his lovebale weird self, jb is a cutie and junsu was the boss.

the aoa girl reminds me of a korean girl version of jay leno, she lakced any charm or charisma and the ze:a boy is boring as fuck (hence they belonging together).

junsu and jei are super cute together, new otp is formed.

also i found so weird to see jb calling suzy hot and a goddess, not that i disagree, but he is one of the few friends she had as a trainee, plus she is super close to jr XD

i think that for sure mir and jihyun sent the change message, i think seungah sent it too, not because she didn't like jb, but because he is too young and in the beginning she asked about older guys (she is the oldest girl and he is the youngest guy). now the 4th person i'm torn between jei and jb.

Mir annoyed me so friggin much. He actually basically annoys me anytime I see him in a variety show, I just want to tell him to STFU. I have no idea why Hyejeong chose STAY. Girl is crazy.

Junsu and Jei were so adorable and natural with one another. New OTP tbh.

JB is the cutest thing ever, but I feel like he's too young for this show. He and Seungah were super fun to watch though.

Hyunsik is the sweetest thing ever, I don't know anything about ZEA other than Kwanghee being an attention whore and Dongjun being a BAMF. But I'll keep my eye out for Hyunsik now. :)

I don't get why everyone is trying to get with Jihyun. She doesn't seem that warm and friendly to me, she seems very cold, and idk. I guess she's pretty, but the other girls seem so much nicer and more open than she is. :l I just don't get it.

Mir has always been a try hard, even in MBLAQ variety shows.

He is not mature enough to handle a real date, and im speaking as a fan of MBLAQ here. *shakes-head* I understand he is the maknae but how old is he now? he should be mature enough to know how to treat a girl with polite manners at the very least. There is a limit to how honest you can be in a show like this, i undesrtand its scripted but to behave in such an asshole manners towards a girl just because she is not to your liking is just crossing the line.

I feel the same way about Mir. He broke so many first date sins in the things he talked about: past dates and how he kissed them and confessed; the whole all girl's school thing and cleaning bathrooms; comparing his date to a big, fat juicy plum. Just, can they replace him with someone else? I like Seungho. Seungho would be nice. I feel bad for whoever gets stuck with Mir. Oh I can't believe Hyejeong choose to stay with him; her reasoning is beyond me.

Seung Ah is so much fun. Seems she's so upfront about her desire to date, I wonder, does DSP allow them to date? I thought it was so cute that JB was hoping that his partner wouldn't think he was too young. Poor JB, the bane of being so much younger.

Jei is too pretty. Was the song that was playing during Jei and Jun.K's first meeting sung by Myungsoo's love interest in Shut Up FBB?

Mir is a dick and he needs to get exiled or something. I don't get why he says he likes girls with small eyes--all the girls he picked (A Pink + KARA) have big eyes or rather the illusion of them cuz of contacts...and then he said he requires bangs? Honestly Jihyun comes across like a cold *****. Yeah, so she's pretty. Who the fuck cares. She's like a princess and I hate that. So yeah, she didn't get to pick who she was with but she didn't have to treat him like a little kid. He was trying and they are only 2 years apart. That's not a huge age gap at all, so what the hell is her problem? She is cold to everyone but, honestly, that is not attractive at all. I'll keep watching to see if she changes, but I really hate that type of character.

Mir is just plain stupid. Everyone woman poops. Good luck finding a wife!! It will be hard if they have watched the show. What a stuck up self-centered jerk, I guess he deserves Jihyun because they both are more into themselves than anyone around them. He was so rude to Hyejeong. It's one thing to be honest, it's another to be drooling for another girl in front of her face like he couldn't wait to not be partnered with her anymore. And she's just debuted. Poor girl. He had no manners at all. Of course they didn't know who would be there, so he should have at least prepared to be polite and considerate.
