U-KISS Eli, NS YoonG to Bring Taste of Korea on TV

K-pop boy band U-KISS member Eli and female soloist NS YoonG are pairing up to introduce the Korean cuisine on a variety show.

According to cable channel O’live TV, Eli and NS YoonG, who are fluent in English, have been tapped as the hosts of forthcoming variety show “K-POP Tasty Road,” which will premiere on November 10 at noon in local time.

The two young and charming singers will trace hot places loved by Korean stars and introduce delicious Korean food in English, the officials explained.

“We expect to bring rich spectacles to both Korean and global viewers by showing Korean stars’ favorite places and traditional tourist attractions in the show. It is going to be a bible for food tour that shows Korean culture from a new point of view,” producer Ok Geun-tae was quoted as saying.

From December, the anticipated series will also air in 11 countries on tvN and Mnet US.

The first episode has already aired, so here it is! Oh yeah. While the previous article says the show's completely in English, the reality is that there are parts that are in Korean (i.e. NS YoonG's narration).

For the sake of my friend who's an Eli bias, I hope nothing happens. However, I personally hope something does happen between them based on Eli's reaction to girl groups on the show. He definitely needs more females in his life. lol

I tried to change it, and I just can't get the video to correct. It's driving me crazy. What is this craziness? It's like this wrong keeps showing up!

Edit: It's only when I post to Omona does the video change to something else. It the correct video when I post the exact same entry to journal to see if the video's right. That's so weird.

Make sure you get rid of the lj-embed code when you paste the video embed. The lj-embed ID on your journal is probably the same ID for the video that's showing up now.

I made sure lj-embed code wasn't there and tried it again. I don't know if that was problem or not since a different random video was showing up before, but the correct video is showing now! Yay! Thanks!

You know, I follow U-Kiss because I'm a fan, and I've never gotten that vibe from Eli. Sure he has had a few words in tweets that were better left unsaid, but on the whole I'd like to says he's a good guy.
