Lee Myung Han, chief producer of tvN′s The Romantic & Idol, called Fiestar′s Jei ′the next Lee Hyori′ and said MBLAQ′s Mir seemed to fit the show the most.
CP Lee recently met with enews and talked about the eight idol members currently appearing on The Romantic & Idol. The show currently features 2PM′s Jun.K (Junsu), ZE:A′s Park Hyung Sik, MBLAQ′s Mir, JJ Project′s JB, 4minute′s Nam Ji Hyun, Fiestar′s Jei, Rainbow′s Oh Seung Ah and AOA′s Hyejeong.
He first said about Fiestar′s leader Jei, "The producers all agreed that Jei is just like how the sexy queen Lee Hyori was when she was a rookie. She′s a rookie, but still she feels like a veteran. Her words and her solid heart were just like Lee Hyori′s."
He then added, "Even her looks and her image are like Hyori′s too. She was very attractive. I believe those charms will be able to shine through this program."
The Romantic & Idol is a show which invites eight idol members to shed their idol identities and try to find love as normal youths in their 20s. The team stayed for four days in Jeju Island while they got to know each other and started to form relationships among them.
CP Lee then added that MBLAQ′s Mir fit The Romantic & Idol′s aims the best, adding, "He opened up everything that was inside him. He knew what he wanted and what he didn′t."
On the first episode of The Romantic & Idol, which aired on November 11, Mir paired up with AOA′s Hyejeong through a shuffle.
Mir had told the producers after the match, "To be honest, Hyejeong isn′t my ideal type. I want someone with small eyes, and I like women who have bangs. Ms. Nam Ji Hyun, we are meant to be."
The Romantic & Idol is the idol version of tvN′s real love variety show The Romantic.
The first episode showed how the men and women got to meet, as well as a preview of what would happen during their four day stay in Jeju Island. Jun.K and Jei, Hyung Sik and Nam Ji Hyun, Mir and Hyejeong and JB and Seung Ah became couples, but the preview for the next episode showed that everyone′s hearts would start pointing in different directions.

Did anyone else watch the first episode of this?? I loved it, I think it's awesome that TvN didn't allow managers at all, so they got to act more like normal people around each other. I heard they are planning a season 2 already with more 2012 rookies.
