Major K-pop talent agency YG Entertainment’s C.E.O Yang Hyun-suk has revealed his everlasting crush on singer Park Ji-min, the winner of SBS’ singing competition “KPOP STAR.”

At the "KPOP STAR 2" press conference held in Seoul Friday, Yang confessed he still adores the former "KPOP STAR" contestants Park and Baek A-yeon, whom both has inked deals with JYP Entertainment and released their debut records a few months ago.

“I’d like to produce Park Ji-min and Baek A-yeon’s new songs, if they want it. It'll be just like how JYP Entertainment Chief Park Jin-young produced Se7en’s [YG artist] tune 'When I can’t sing' before. I’ll keep this in mind until the end of the second season when the contestants sign with other agencies,” Yang said, while sitting next to the show's two other judges, Park and SM Entertainment artist BoA.

"I still like Baek so much that I once said in an interview that I’d like to sign up for her fan club. And I still recall how it touches people’s heart when Park Ji-min sang Adele’s 'Rolling In The Deep.' From time to time I look its video up on the internet," he added.

The second installation of "KPOP STAR" will kick off its run on SBS from November 18 at 5:00 p.m. in local time.

YG is such a troll! But I'm sure he would get better results, at least with Park Ji Min than JYP with his 15& flop debut.

Except YG doesn't really make good music anymore, though I guess it might have an up from JYP...

oh definitely, but i feel like they'd be given a song that won't go well with their voices.
that's just my two cents.

Agreed. Ah yeon's mini is my fave from all the music released from the 3 kpop star girls.

I know, she was the first place winner and he put her in a duet and everyone else debuted as solo artists........

In a duet with someone who arguably sings better than anyone on K-pop Star, mind.

No, I agree. Yerin should've gone solo as well. I personally like her voice better than Jimin's. Plus, she has better control and range.

I just don't understand why JYP decided to put Jimin in a duet and make Ah Yeon solo.

Ji min actually requested to be put in a duo with her. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RjXSSwZAFqU at around 1:03. I love Yerin's voice, but I don't think she would've been comfortable going solo. If you have ever watched their interviews, she's still pretty shy.

I heard she didn't have much of a choice, SM wasn't recruiting any of K-Pop Star contestants, and rumor has it YG wasn't interested with her after signing Hayi.

Ji Min's hype went down when JYP decided to put her in a duo.
Worst decision in 2012.
Look at Lee Hi. She can carry herself on her own what more if it's Ji Min.

I know what the heck? It's actually masking Ji Min's potential. She would have been more successful going solo. Not that the other girl is not talented but Jimin can do better solo.

idg the 15& hate, jimin clearly wanted to be in a duo, jyp gave him the option to chose what she wanted to do with her career, she is obviously young and felt comfortable being with someone else on stage, plus she can always release solo things later, i actually like that jype didn't play safe and did the obvious with her that would be a solo debut.

plus jimin and yerin are so fucking talented and cute together that i can't, i just love them too much.

i like how people assume just because someone has great vocals they would automatically be perfect going solo.

have you ever thought that maybe that person is too awkward or shy to stand on stage and perform by themselves? but i guess that doesn't matter since they have great vocals right?

agreed, although my reasoning is that Ji Min's vocals wouldn't be able to stand alone.
She has a beautiful voice, but in terms of standing out among other strong vocalists, she wouldn't. Her voice in a sense is almost generic if loosely said.

I think 15& have a chance of becoming like a davichi 2.0 with their voices - at least a younger version if marketed right.

They just need the right songs

That's funny, I actually think Jimin would have been even more overshadowed if she had gone solo. Jimin's voice is pretty conventional, while Hayi's more unique. It would have brought on even more comparisons. Like the user above me said, 15& can go the way of Davichi.
