Kangta and f(x)'s Victoria participated in a charitable project aimed to support underprivileged children in China. On October 16th, it was revealed that SM Entertainment and CJ E&M would collaborate for the project titled "China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development CJ CGV Harmony Fund."
The two companies held social activities in Beijing, China, on November 1st and 2nd, giving students a chance to engage in activities pertaining to culture and education. They also held music classes by Korean artists and remodeled the school's facilities.
This marked the first corporate social charity project as South Korea and China's diplomatic ties celebrate their 20th anniversary. The project titled "China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development CJ CGV Harmony Fund" was founded last June by CJ CGV, an affiliate of CJ E&M and The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
To kick start the planned charitable activities, Kangta and f(x)'s Victoria personally gave dance and music lessons to the students.
