Actor Yoo Seung Ho has officially been cast in the upcoming MBC drama ‘I Miss You‘.
The actor has been cast for the role of Kang Hyung Joon, an asset manager who becomes rivals with Han Jung Woo, played by Park Yoochun.
A drama representative explained the casting decision saying, “Yoo Seung Ho is being recognized by many for his maturation as an actor. We believe that he will play the character of Kang Hyung Joon, who is cold-hearted and hides his past pain behind his gentle image, better than anyone else.”
In the drama, Yoo Seung Ho plans to showcase acting skills that have further matured since his most recent appearances in other dramas.
Meanwhile, ‘I Miss You’ already cast Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye as the protagonists to draw out the sad love story of the drama.

I think he and yeh would be real good in the drama. Was sorta hopeful for some stupid sappy drama before they added ysh....now I see a trainwreck which I cannot possibly avert my eyes from.

Date: 2012-10-28 10:17 pm (UTC)I love Yoochun as an actor. I've been watching kdramas since 2000, and imo its either you can act or you can't. I've never seen anyone blow me away acting wise. I'm more worried there is not going to be a fleshed out story and I will bored outta my mind.

I like Yoochun and I think he's a good actor, but Seung Ho gonna pawn him & Eun Hye in this drama. And the sad part is, he is guaranteed to have a sad and unjustified ending for his character since he plays the second lead after all (You know how blind the female first leads in Kdramas no matter how perfect and kind the second guys are). This is just like Lee Hyun Woo in 'To the Beautiful You'. >.>
