Date: 2012-10-20 08:28 pm (UTC)ON THE OTHER HAND, if she HAD to sing in that original key, let her sing a lower harmony part in that key instead of the high melody part. For example, let's say she was singing a note within the C-major chord (C-E-G). Let her sing the lower C note instead of the high G note. Or, if possible, let her sing the "G" note that is an octave down. It would be worth a try at least, right?
With all that aside, mad love for Bom! Hope she does not feel too discouraged from comments on the web about her singing in the higher register (if she read any). Singing that high is a VERY difficult thing to do for some people. As a 2nd soprano, I definitely understand xD
