YEH is a Hallyu star. Casting her and Yoochun will not only make sure this drama is sold overseas, but that it also has a chance of being very successful in Korea. Casting her is a no brainer. It's a shame so many people think she can't act.

Yes it is a shame indeed how many people purposely forget all her accomplishments simply because she did 2 dramas that had problematic production & storyline. For My fair Lady and Lie To Me the scripts were changed after she already signed the contract, so it's not like she can just back out from the drama.

It's like they only want her to produce perfect dramas every single time and when she doesn't, they shun her forever. I've always found it so strange as to why people always expect her to do great every single time, but on the otherhand they don't do this to other actresses.
Yoon Eun Hye has proven herself over and over again and just because she did 2 projects that didn't do as well as her 3 other dramas doesn't make her a bad actress.
Every actor/actress have good projects and also less stellar projects on their resume, so I hope people would get off her back.

They're not forgetting her accomplishments because she had two bad dramas, it's the people who always had a problem with her acting. She's not the most gifted actor, but there's some qualities about her that makes her very likable to viewers, but when she has to play characters that are not the plucky hard-working, her flaws stand out more.

I don't speak Koreans, so I don't know too much about this, but I read articles criticizing her lisp, she admitted this herself and said she's working on it.

The lisp was gone in Lie To Me and she has gotten good reviews for her acting in Lie To Me from media critics. They also praised her for her good crying skills. The problem with some fans and some bloggers is that if ratings are less than stellar, they automatically blame it on bad acting.

If she wasn't a gifted actor then she wouldn't have won best actress at the Grimme Awards or best actress at the Baeksang or even become a finalist as best actress at Monte Carlo International Festival. So far she is the only singer turned actress to accomplish that feat. Yes, there is always room for improvement, learning never stops, but they are too much when they say she is bad.

i'm so excited for this drama idek. i mean, for chun's other dramas, i wasn't too excited for the female leads though han ji min was pretty good. this one, i'm excited for both leads and finally a good cast for a cliche drama. excited!
