Yoon Eun-hye has been cast in the upcoming MBC drama "Missing You", opposite JYJ's Micky Yoochun.
In the program to replace the network's current drama "Arang and the Magistrate", Yoon will play the role of budding fashion designer Lee Soo-yeon, who is Micky's character's first love.
Yoon's agency said that the show marked her return to TV after more than 17 months away.
Meanwhile, Micky secured the lead as a man named Han Jung-woo, who reminisces about his first love.
Although her absence on TV has been felt, Yoon has been keeping busy with a lot on her plate.
In June, she took part in a mission trip to Madagascar where she engaged in a host of charity projects.
She has also been undertaking postgraduate studies at Chung-Ang University since March.
Meanwhile, AsianWiki already released some still images of the drama, no Eun-hye and Yoochun yet though.

The 20-episode melodrama is described as a hide-and-seek love story, about a pair of teenagers who fall in love and get painfully separated, and then meet again as adults. There’s not a whole lot to the plot other than that, so it looks like a Fate vs. First Loves kind of story — heavy on the angst with a side of salty tears. The fifteen-year old versions of the leads will be played by Moon/Sun’s Yeo Jin-gu and Kim So-hyun, who are both delightful and becoming stars in their own right.
And then following the painful period of Ye First Love Torn Asunder, we’ll meet up with our adult cast: Yoochun who plays Han Jung-woo, a cheeky detective in the violent crimes unit, and Yoon Eun-hye as Lee Soo-yeon, a talented rookie fashion designer. Both characters are cheerful types, which is a huge relief, considering the amount of times the words “pain” and “separation” appear in any given description of the project. The heroine is bright and confident, despite carrying a deep scar from something in her past, and the hero is a cheeky monkey off-duty, and a baddie-chasing fiend when he’s wearing his gun and badge.

Date: 2012-10-11 08:40 pm (UTC)and as much i like yoochun as an actor, he is pretty competent and definitely the best actor of dbsk/jyj, even tho he is not great, i'm sad that she is not acting with a high profile actor and maybe because yoochun looks so young and she always was paired to mainly man this couple feels awkward right now, but i bet that after the drama airs i'll enjoy it, i'm really hoping this drama is good since he r last two sucked.
